Q: YTD: CSU -20%, NVDA -52%, MSFT - 33%, AMD -57%, AAPL - 22%.

These five were a big part of my best year in '21 and they're a big part of my worst ever year ion '22. So it goes. Having stubbornly ridden them down, not wanting to have locked in a loss, do I assume correctly that you still like all these names and would advise hanging in for the rebound?

Q: Hi Team,
EGLX is now 0.3% of my portfolio down 88%. I want to either sell it and use the funds in existing positions or pump more money into it. Sell or add?
If I sell please advise in order of preference which names you would add to for 5-10 years between the following NVDA, PLTR, GSY, LSPD, SHOP, WELL?

Q: Trading near 52wk lows. I read your report and am quite enamored.

Currently P/E around 5, yet management is expecting CAGR of 15% if I understand correctly ?

Market is pricing interest rate hikes and real estate slowdown, but is this not a compelling buy right now ? If not, what would be your better alternatives ?

Q: I have some money available in my RIF and I would like to add to ADT and AW.UN
I like ADT for Upside and AW.UN for the dividend and possible upside. Would you prefer one over the other and why?

Q: Hi 5i Team

I'm trying to understand the timing of when a new benchmark 5 year Bank of Canada bond rate is set (and how it will affect fixed rate reset preferred shares) .

It looks like there is an auction for the 5 year roughly once a month. Do each of these auctions affect the benchmark or are only some designated for that purpose?

Q: Given a competing offer will not be coming and it from my math it seems YRI current price is not really showing any discount (you can take a look) to the current offer, would you suggest its time to move on and look for a replacement. Any suggestions besides AEM/BTO for safer precious metals holdings who are paying a decent dividend.

Q: Hello, I just read an excellent article in today’s Globe & Mail written by Norm Rothery. He discussed how a momentum investing strategy has significantly beat benchmark indexes for many years. I would not be able to run the numerous screens and perform the frequent rebalancing that this strategy requires. Are there any Canadian ETFs that follow a US or Canadian momentum investing strategy?
