Q: Looking for any ideas for U.S. specific sector exposure, are there any sector ETF's similar to ZUB and ZUH but in other sectors of the U.S. market and similarly Can. $ hedged? Thanks. Brian

Q: I just visited your subscription website. 5i rightfully touts the outstanding returns on these BEST PERFORMERS since inception.

I have benefited immensely from those picks BUT bailed at the wrong time and now only hold GSY.

Would you still recommend Csu,byd and syz at current prices or are there new potential multi baggers that you prefer

I realize I am trying to compare apples to oranges in two different sectors... but I would like your opinion which is always objective and rational. Q: The other day a member asked about utility companies being takeover candidates and you closed your answer by saying:

"Companies we think would prefer stock deals and may be loathe to add more debt right now. But, AQN, ALA, TA, RNW, CPX and INE are probably getting a little antsy right now about overtures."

I am not sure how to interpret the "getting antsy" reference; are you saying these companies could potentially be subject to a takeover? If so, most of the time that would be a good thing but are you thinking that these companies are in bad shape and would be forced into a distressed (low ball) sale? Thanks much for your excellent service.

Q: I don't have any ETF's and I would like to have one of Canadian stocks and one for US stocks. What do you think of the above etf's or could you suggest another one for each of the markets.

Q: Recently an analyst specializing on REITs said "We believe the ability for select names to maintain current distribution levels is ‘below average’, including Dream Office REIT, European Residential REIT, Extendicare Inc.,, Melcor REIT, Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT, etc. "
Does this mean there is a strong possibility that the distributions will be cut for the above noted REITs ?

Q: Hi Guys,

I'm looking at a couple of smaller oil and gas companies and wanted to get your thoughts. i3 Energy and Gear Energy. Both of them got into a little trouble this year when they implemented a unstainable dividend. Their dividends have been dropped to a sustainable level, but both of their share prices took a pretty good hit for that. However it looks like they have good cash flow, both are paying down debt, and they seem to have pretty good land packages. I was thinking with all the cash floating around the oil patch right now, both would be pretty good takeout targets. Curious on your thoughts and if they would be a good hold.
