Q: Hello 5i
As a long time holder of CSU I'm wondering about what % of CSU TOI and LMN one might own. Without giving me specific guidance can you comment on the pros and cons of an equal weighting of each (ei 33% of each).
Thanks
Dave

Q: With what 'appears' to be a bottoming of European and North American gas prices and the 'Saudi Put' on oil can we buy VET at these levels?

BMO US High Dividend Covered Call ETF (ZWH)

BMO Canadian High Dividend Covered Call ETF (ZWC)

Harvest Canadian Equity Income Leaders ETF (HLIF)
Q: Hello, just wanted your updated opinion on HLIF to generate income. I would also appreciate another choice of covered call ETF with more history and with which you would be comfortable for maximum income without undue risk. Thanks.
Q: (as a follow up to an earlier question this morning where you figured this was a sell)
not trying to pick a fight yet would you consider that, as one of the only profitable mso/pot companies, it seems like it would be a good spec at today's $10?
the chart certainly looks like it has been bottomed out
would not the potential/eventual change in the US banking legislation not be considered a catalyst that could easily see this double or triple from $10?
(as an aside, last fall when there was rumour of a leg. change, it quickly doubled)
asking for a friend........

Q: Once they payout the $4.55 special dividend, we should be looking at a $9.50 or less stock, do we know if the monthly distribution is staying the same as it would then be yielding over 7%?
Q: Hello, Shopify stock dropped almost 7%, in Today's trading. Partly it could be attributed to decline in most Technology stocks. But, I was wondering if the patent infringement suit pending in a Texas court also played a part. It was also reported today that Shopify has filed a motion to force Lower 48 IPPLC, to reveal its backers/fund, as this company has a history of such filings against prominent companies with the intention of extorting money for their group.(Last one filed by this co against INTEL was eventually dropped in a similar situation). Not sure, I have all the facts.
If you think, it's only short term noise, does the price drop present a buying opportunity ?
Thank You

Q: Fairfax's share price broke the $1000 mark today. Seems to be due to some announcements made in the last couple of days. Can you explain what FFH has done and whether you like it?
Q: To be clear it is Dream Office and not Dream Industrial declaring the distribution. Correct?
Q: I did read your last comments .I do keep stocks long term for dividends.Since more people work at home, should we still believe in the future of this Cie (according to the kind of contracts and customers they have),and in this context would the stock still be a "hold",or rather a buy or a sell ?
Q: I was under the impression that this company was suppose to have a stock split. Is this still happening or was I just dreaming. Tnx
Q: I'm thinking of entering into a position in Whitecap Resources. Thoughts on this as an entry point and how does it compare with the prospects of the industry as a whole?

Q: Hello, Stantec stock has seen good momentum and jumped from $79 to over $83, since, Friday, last week. Are you aware of any specific developments, or it's part of the relief rally in the infrastructure sector, after passing of Debt Ceiling bill in US. I am aware that Stifel bumped STN price target to $93 from $86, on Monday. Is it worth increasing our present 1.5% weighting in STN ( we are underweight in Industrials ) and if so, what will be a reasonable price level to add ? Or, it's prudent to wait for the stock to settle back to $78-79 level ? Thank You
Q: Retired, dividend-income investor. I know you "just recently" added to NWC. I had also planned to top up an almost full position, but was waiting for a pullback.
Since then NWC has reported and the market reaction is not kind...down 8% at the time of writing this question. What are you current thoughts, now that you have additional information? Would you add now or wait a few days for the dust to settle?
Thanks....Steve
