Q: SYZ has been moving slowly downward the past while. Anything to be concerned with? I realize it's a low volume trader and more volatile. What will it take to kick start the stock?

Q: I have 2% position of SYZ in my portfolio and with this stock failed to gain any traction, and also dropping almost daily (I'm down 10% so far overall), would it be advisable to just sell it for a small loss and move on? Your recommendation is much appreciated.

Q: Hello Peter, Ryan, and Team
I need to raise some cash and would like to know how you would rank these stocks from "sell first" to "sell last":
BLX 1.07%
BNS 1.9%
KXS 1.35%
NFI 0.81%
PBH 1.7%
SIS 2.22%
SYZ 0.94%
TFII 0.58%
I am underwater on all of these. The number following each symbol is the stock's weighting.
Thanks for your assistance.

Q: At the present time I have a full position in Kinaxis, Constellation Software, and Shopify.
All 3 are in a non registered account. CSU and SHOP have done very well but KXS has been falling over the past year and I was wondering about selling it and buying one of the other 4 that I have listed. I am looking only at growth over the next one to two year time period. My risk tolerance is moderate to high. Which one would you suggest and why. Or would you just stay with Kinasix. Please deduct as many credits as you see fit. Thank you, Ian

Q: At the present I have a full position in SHOP and CSU. I would like to add another full position to my technology sector. Which to the above 5 stocks would you suggest for
growth only for a 1 to 2 year holding. My risk tolerance medium high. Could you please rank them from most growth to lowest growth and your reasons. Please deduct as many credits as you see fit.

Q: I was just about to buy CSU when I noticed a good report and it shot up 12%! Is it too late? I'm looking for two long term holds, minimal volatility, for a 2.5 % position each. What two do you like and why?
Q: Hi 5i team,
Following my reading of your updated SYZ report. About the strategic partnership with Microsoft that has an end date set in August 2019: when can we expect SYZ to make an announcement if renewed, or renewed with modifications or not renewed (different date?)? What could be the impact of a « no renewal » on revenue, earnings and stock price?
Thank you for your collaboration,
Eric

Q: Any insight with management at SYZ? I can not find any reason behind the precipice drop over the last few days. I totally got it wrong and bought recently only to watch it fall off a cliff. I am out now too wild a ride for me. I am questioning whether your small caps are worth holding in these markets, no one gets them all right but this is getting painful.
Still listening but wondering if some of your response should take what seems to be a terrible space for cdn small caps into consideration and few more get out while can responses would be in order. lol ..sort of...rant is over.

Q: Hi, Could you please comment on the 1st quarter earning release of Sylogist, this morning. Thanks
Q: Two outsized moves to the downside that I don't see any news for. Your thoughts please. Thank-you.
Q: SYZ has been weak for the past couple of weeks. Seems to drop a bit every day, even on good market days. From recent questions and you responses, you seem to be comfortable with it and like it. Is the weakness an opportunity to acquire a full position? Is there anything that might temper this decision?
Q: Which of either Sylogist,(syz) or Absolute Software, (abt) do you prefer for growth for a 3/5 year horizon. I recognize that they are in different technological fields, but am leaning slightly toward Absolute.
Thank you
David
Thank you

Q: technically, syz has broken support; granted on its usual low volume
question - anything that you know would be cause for concern?
looking to top up my position

Q: The market does not like these securities. 5i does like these securities. There must be better stocks on the Canadian market that you could replace these with. Thank you. Dennis

Q: Good Morning 5i,
Looking for a bit of guidance in adding to my CDN portfolio. Bit of a long-winded question so please deduct credits as appropriate.
I have 27 positions. The smallest positions are at about 2.75% (FTS, NTR) and largest are at about 6.5% (ENB, BNS).
Sector Allocations as follows:
Financial - 20%, Energy - 20% (almost entirely midstreams/pipes - ENB, KEY, IPL - Vermilion is the exception), Industrials - 12%, Materials 5.5%, Cons. Cyc - 7%, Cons. Defensive - 3%, Telco - 8.5%, Utilities 14%, Healthcare - 4%, Info Tech - 5.5%
Holdings are almost all 'boring' names, dividend payers/growers even though my risk tolerance is high and we are in our late 30's with no intention of touching this portfolio for decades. There are a few growthier co.'s in there that have come from your suggestions - GC, KXS, SIS, for example.
We have funds for 3 new positions - 2 in cash account, and 1 in a TFSA after contributing this year's limit, each position worth roughly 3.5%
I've been leaning towards BAM, as an all around well run company and exposure in things like real estate and infrastructure that is currently not in this portfolio.
Can't settle in on the other 2 positions, although my sector allocations scream at me to add more Technology. I simply cannot figure out what would be good buys here - I keep going back and forth in my head between growth options (PHO) and more boring options like Evertz.
Can you give me your opinion on this? First of all on whether (based on my current allocations) I should be looking at tech or somewhere else. Second, on the specific names to recommend (given a timeline measured in decades). Third, on the addition of BAM? Finally, on where you would add the positions (TFSA or CASH)?
Again, multiple part question so please deduct as appropriate.
Thank you so much,
Ryan

Q: Can you comment on SYZ latest earning?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Can sylogist be compared to CGI group or Descartes or any other technology company? Is it cheaper than the above and is their growth rate intact. Is it still a B- company and will you do an updated report?
Q: I currently own CLS and thinking of selling this stock and buying SYZ or OTEX or would it be best to buy both? I currently already have KXS and PHO. These are the only 2 tech stocks that I will own after selling CLS. My total weight is only 5%.
Thanks
