Q: Hello 5i, I purchased these stocks at a much higher (higher) price. As we approach tax loss selling , which ones are worth keeping? and which ones sell now?

Q: Often it is mentioned that management of Well sold their prior company, Tio Networks to PayPal. Was it a huge premium to the share price when they sold? I can’t find any info on Tio Networks,
If Well goes on an acquisition strategy do you think they would do an equity financing to raise money. I always seem to buy a company just before they decide to raise money and the stock falls as companies seem to raise money after a huge run up in the stock and then do a bought deal at a significant discount to the market price and individual investors are blocked out of these deals,

Q: After many years I still remember when gold was a great investment until the day arrived and it was not. Also silver was hot (remember the Hunt brothers?) The memory lingers because I lost a few dollars in the process.
Since then I have stayed clear of precious metals however perhaps the time has arrived (late of course) when I should reconsider a small step back into the arena.
Do you believe FNV may have a chance of restoring by belief in the future (five years) of the precious metal market? In other words should I take a small position or wait for the next shoe to drop?

Q: Hi 5i gang,
I suspect that travel-related stocks are at their bottoms or nearly so. My impression is that airlines will be first sub-sector to rally, especially if the U.S. government goes ahead and sends them big stimulus checks that are being rumoured about these days. Given this context, which airline companies in your opinion have the best prospects of returning to their prior Covid-19 levels?

Q: What is your opinion on using VCIP as a 'slightly riskier than cash' investment vehicle for a holding period of 6-12 months? It is obviously riskier than HISAs/GICs/PSA, but do you think it is riskier than XSB/VSB/HFR? There is an equity component to VCIP, but given its greater diversification compared to XSB/VSB/HFR, I wonder if, paradoxically, it might actually be 'safer'. I note that when the pandemic hit, even VSB/HFR fell quite precipitously. Would you advocate a mix of VCIP/VSB/HFR instead? If so, how would you weight the three? Thank you.
