Q: Hello 5I,
Just wondering if there are many stocks out there right now that are dividend growers and have a yield of 6% plus? and do you like any other them as picks longer term?

Thanks

Q: Hi, I’m retired and have a $75,000 rrsp that I’m looking to invest. Would like two ETF’s one Canadian one U.S that complement one another, or four to five stocks.
Would like the suggestions to be fairly conservative with possibly 3-4% dividend. ( don’t really need the money). I’m slightly favouring the etf’s as I want a buy and hold portfolio with a sleep at night possibility. I do have lots of financial and energy stocks already, ( fyi) I know there is always risk that I’m willing to accept.
Thanks for your suggestion

Q: In today's Globe and Mail:
Premier François Legault’s Coalition Avenir Québec government plans to table legislation soon that would allow private wind, solar and small hydro-power producers to sell their electricity directly to industrial customers. Currently, the private producers can sell only to Hydro-Québec.

Are there any public power companies that would materially benefit from this legislation?

Q: In your answers to questions regarding sectors allocation, you say that materials sector should be at 10%. In my case it is 4% and includes AEM, NTR, CCL.B, WFG, MX. What would you do to increase my allocation? Would you replace some companies? Thank you

Q: I have a no. of ETFs with OPTIONS on its 30% approx applied to generate extra income. Naturally it is higher risk/reward but I can not find how to access monthly (or annual) reports on Div income, Options gain/loss or dilution of Equity. Specially Equity dilution is a concern and I wonder if they can avoid informing shareholders such important information.

Q: I know you guys are not warm and fuzzy about these guys and don't follow them anymore, but for some reason I find them, let's say, "interesting". Their CIRO trading halt order is a week and a half old now with no news. This is obviously due to their late filings. It's either going to be really good or really bad. Do you have a wild guess and opinion?

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I have to sell one of these stocks to meet my RIF withdrawal obligation for 2023. I have owned them all for years...CET is down; QST down more; QTRH up slightly. Of course since it is a RIF account there is no tax loss credit. So if you had to sell one...what do do think would be the best choice. Thanks for your opinion which is always objective and sobering which helps in my decision in which I take full responsibility.

Q: Greetings:
It has been some time since a question has been asked about MRG.UN. I am looking for a replacement when my Tricon shares are taken from me!!!! Would you be so kind as to give me your opinion on: Growth expected, growth if any --past two years, even though price fell with advance in interest rates, analysts covering it. They have recently put an NCIB in place. Anything else you might think of. Multiple X cash flow. Any chance of a takeout? How does it compare to MRC and MRT.UN. Thanks, Ben.

Q: Aaron Rodgers (star Green Bay Packer) called out Nancy Pelosi for buying millions of NVDA in curious stock trades before a government announcement as Aaron's friend used his X account to become more informed on the Pelosi trades. I imagine there is quite a bit of this going on and I would ask if that benefits or hinders the ordinary trader like us who rely a lot on your knowledge.

Q: Is AIR Canada a buy. It looks cheap. US Airlines have been reporting good earnings. Will AC report a good Quarter ?It has a lot of International travelers .

Is the problem that there are so many Airlines to consider that AC is at the bottom of the pile and has little interest to the investor and then only to Canadian Investor and not USA investor ? When is next quarter coning ? Thanks a lot RAK

Q: Hi, follow up the on the previous question about AQN and their dividend versus Cashflow and earnings: The dividend is $0.44 per share but the Free Cashflow per share is -$0.35. Doesn't that mean that if they killed the dividend the company would have free cash per share of $0.09 and therefore be adding cash per quarter instead of losing cash?

Am I reading this wrong? AQN seems to be reducing the financial capacity of the company to pay the dividend. Wouldn't a more appropriate practice be to pay the dividend out of free cash?
