What are your thoughts of initiating a position in BRK-B at current levels for a long term hold?

Q: Recently you stated "We find it a bit interesting today. Management is under the gun to show it did the right thing by fighting the HSE takeover attempt. " My impression of the CEO interview on BNN last Friday was they are focusing on debt reduction with no intention of production increase. I'm pretty sure your not "a bit interested" because you expect a jump in the price of oil , management has indicated no production increase, I'm curious as to your rationale here?

Vistra Energy (VST-N) has agreed to increase its acquisition price for Crius Energy Trust (KWH.UN-T) to $8.80 per trust unit, an increase of $1.23 per trust unit from the parties’ prior agreement.
“Vistra and Crius Energy negotiated the amendment in response to the receipt by the Crius Energy Board of Directors of an unsolicited acquisition proposal from a third party bidder dated Feb. 14, 2019 that was higher than the purchase price previously agreed by Vistra and Crius Energy,” the company stated.

Q: A warning to Jim concerning moving his shares in the Brookfield Co to his USD account because of dividends paid in USD: I called Qtrade (my broker) to find out if the USD dividends paid by my Canadian companies (including BEP) were deposited directly in my USD account. They actually convert the dividends to CAD and then reconvert them to USD before depositing the cash in the account (I moved all these shares back to my CAD account). I would advise you to check with your broker if they charged conversion fees twice.

Q: Is not 2019 projections significantly better then 2018? A company want to be responsible they are penalized???

“As the timing of the full impact of these cost saving programs is difficult to determine, we believe it prudent to re-evaluate our guidance for 2019. Consequently, for 2019 we are now forecasting revenue of $385 to $400 million and adjusted EBITDA in a range of $55 to $60 million, excluding any contributions from potential future acquisitions.”

Q: I bought WCP at the end of December for "bounce" factor at $4, and still hold. It has come up significantly this week. Is there some fundamental reason for this? In other words, does it have the potential to stay over $5 longer term? I'm wondering whether to continue to hold long term or sell and take the short-term gain, as was my original intention.

Q: Junior Golds

I accumulated these Jr Golds prior/during the 2016 Gold run up. Obviously, too many. I would like to reduce the Jr Gold Cos. to 2 or 3. I do hold KL and FNV also. GRP as you know is Silver.
How would you rank these on a risk/reward spectrum?

Secondly, how does this current gold run 'FEEL' to you?

My Grand Daughter has the following funds in her RESP> She has sufficent funds in each to pay for all costs associated with each of the 3 years of her education. Which would you sell 1st 2nd 3rd over the next 3yrs and would you suggest selling any and if so what would you replace them with?

Q: Would you consider this company to be a long term hold and if so would it be better held in a RIFF or a TFSA? I tend to be overweight in Cdn banks and utilities so looking to be more diversified. If NVZMY is a thumbs down I'd appreciate a couple of other suggestions, perhaps in Tech or Healthcare. Thanks.
