Q: Hello 5i
I understand the upsize however I don’t understand what the $9.80 subscription receipt represents. Appreciate your help.
“WELL Health upsized its previously announced $295.5M equity offering by C$7M and completed the full upsized C$302.5M equity offering at C$9.80 per subscription receipt, representing a 25% premium to WELL’s 5-day VWAP preceding the announced acquisition of NYSE American and TSX listed CRH Medical Corporation or “CRH”.
Thank you

Q: Going through all your portfolios looking for a high(er) growth stock with a dividend >1 that I don't already own. Can you please rate the following on a scale of 1-10 (1 being low) for both growth and risk over the next 12-18 months: MG, SLF, PKI, TFI, CCL, PLC, GSY, OTEX. (I note that all but SLF are currently rated 'strong buy'.) And if you have two clear favourites in the preceding list, I would appreciate those being noted separately. Thank you.

Q: Hello,

We have a 2.5-year-old named Victoria, aka 'Toe-Toe'. We are Canadian, and looking for some recommendations for balanced ETFs (or index funds) that we can purchase every two weeks for her RESP. They should have a low/no/reasonable MER, probably more exposure to the US, than Canada, and if possible a dividend so we can start a DRIP. Your suggestions are appreciated. Thanks,

Go, Jets, Go!

Q: Good morning. I currently have positions with MFC, SLF and GWO but GWO was a recent purchase just to see how it performed against the other two which I have held for many years. Based on some of my research it appears that Sunlife manages better through pullbacks and downturns historically however if I were also looking at Dividend Yields, currently MFC and GWO are higher. However I try to look at:
1. Growth rate ( ie EPS growth);
2. Dividend Yield Growth and;
3. Forward Valuation
as best as possible when I look at a company. I don't want or believe I need all three and would appreciate your input as to how you would rank them based on the three criteria I've noted.
Thanks,
Kevin

Q: I own these 2 majors and I'm up 15-20% on them so far. My question is that many people are now talking about value stocks and that energy and financials are good plays. It seems like a lot of people believe energy might be entering a multi year bull market (Eric Nutall!). I've traded these over the last few years since they always seem to pop and then go back down with political climate or economic sensitivity. How do you know if this time is different? I don't want to sell too early, but I don't think $100 oil is coming back.

Thanks,
Jason
