Q: Hello,
TRI recently announced an upcoming reverse split of their shares. This seems to to go against the usual practice of a reverse split whereby a low priced stock and out of favour stock (unlike TRI) will do one to drive up the price of their stock when it’s trading very low and in risk of being delisted as was the case of Bombardier recently and JDS Uniphase many years back. I’m having difficulty understanding why TRI would not just buy back shares via an NCI as opposed to a reverse split. Also, when is the reverse split scheduled and if I was to buy 10 shares tomorrow, how many of those shares would I have after the reverse split and would the price of TRI increase as a result of the reverse split as is normally the result of a reverse split. Many thanks for the amazing service that you provide.

Q: What do you see in the medium term for TD? With a dividend approaching 5%, does it not invite investors to jump in? What am I not seeing here? If we get into, or deeper into, an unpleasant recession can you see TD share prices dropping significantly from current levels?
You have regularly note that the big banks have not historically reduced their dividends. If TD share prices do drop, the yields will be alarmingly high. It's been decades since I studied economics and I don't seem to be any smarter. Perhaps you can help.
thanks

Q: Is QSR still a buy at this level? Do you have a preference between it and AW for a 5-year hold?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Saw an Ad today to WSJ suggesting PLTR has the most Revenue in AI, even higher than MSFT, GOOG, etc. etc.
True or False?
Thanks!

Q: How long since the inversion of the yield curve happened. Isn't there a direct correlation at predicting a recession? What is the theory exctly and how close are we hence if this prove to be right? Does it always happen?
Thank you

Q: Thoughts on AMD after its earnings? Would it be a good time to step in now?
Q: Would you buy NVEI here or is it too expensive?
Q: Is it too late to get into a NASDAQ ETF or do you think it will continue to go up?
Q: Hello, I note that you have recently had quite a number of questions about CSU. I am interested in knowing what 5i's thoughts are regarding the recent very strong stock performance. "Why has the stock price increased so dramatically" is my question. I realize it had a good recent quarter, however the price often settles down after a bit with most companies. Not CSU this time though.
Q: Interested in any thoughts on this company given it"s 160 Million dollar Cdn gov contract that appears to provide a nice base to it"s long term prospects.
thanks

Q: How much of TD's $1.2T of deposits is in their US banking operations? And does this amount include their ownership in Schwab and other banks they have a stake in?
Is this something to be concerned about, given the potential for a further run on the banks. Thank you.

Q: BCE dividend payout ratio is 120% and Telus is not far behind. How is this sustainable? Isn't this a warning sign?
Q: It's been a while since any questions on this company - what are your current thoughts on it's operations compared to competitors and any thoughts re: catalysts to drive earnings higher?
Thanks for all you do, John
