Q: Good day all!
We currently have the above stocks on the tech side of our registered and non-registered portfolios. Looking to bring our portfolio in balance with recommended weights.
Can you please suggest 2 new stocks each for non registered and TFSA account that are good buys now. Dividends welcomed but not necessary.
Thank you
Roger

Q: Hello Peter et al:
A great question by James today and equally a great answer by you! AAPL wasn't included in James' question and hence the price targets characterized by Good price VS Great price for AAPL wasn't mentioned. I have added AAPL here.
(MSFT: 240/210; GOOG: 95/80: AMZN: 95/80.)
IF I were to request you to wear your Option trader's hat, (after all you manage a fund based on options!) how would you play these stocks. Assume that these are long term holdings and cash covered. Should one simply either buy puts or sell covered calls. Your "great" price targets roughly assume about 15% downside correction.
If indeed these solid stocks are going on sale and if one is determined to hold them for ever, why would one not make any money whilst one waits?
That's the thesis behind my question.
Many thanks in advance.
Mano

What do you think of this company going forward in 2023?

Thank you.

Q: I know AEM is one of the most frequently mentioned gold stocks when 5i is asked for a gold stock recommendation. Since October the price of gold has essentially been a straight line up and to the right. I see no insider buying at AEM. What are we missing? They seem to be a non performer!
Q: After recent developments in Ukraine-Russia war, Russia now treating NATO as a direct enemy, so we are are going to see significant escalation in cyber war activities, meaning more money is going to be spend on cyber security. To capitalize on this, I would like to invest in one of these three cybersecurity ETFs. I am leaning towards BUG because it has higher concentration of security names, two other ETFs have many cloud/infrastructure holdings (e.g. Cisco, Cloudflare, etc.) that have little to do with cybersecurity. Yet, BUG is the smallest out of 3 ETFs and it has very high average P/E ratio... Which ETF do you recommend and what's you reasoning for the choice? Thanks.
