Q: Hi, for a two to five year investment, which of these two companies would you say is a better investment, thanks?
Q: EFN is starting to look very attractive. Why is it so beat up?
The management presentation references tangible leverage, which appears high but wondering if you could put it in context, I'm guessing as a financial this kind of leverage is more acceptable. They seem to be generating higher returns now but if thats just happening due to additional leverage its not really a value add. Do they have any oil and gas exposure? Chesapeake is referenced in the deck, not sure how that ties and how large that exposure would be.
Thanks

Q: Good Morning Gentlemen,
I am writing to you to get your counsel in developing a long term diversified portfolio in US$.
My Canadian portfolio is based on the 5i 3 platforms.
My objective is to outperform the SPY if possible.
I have chosen 5 ETF’s that when analyzing them seemed to show good performance, good Morningstar rating, and non duplicated holdings.
I have researched their MER’s, objectives etc.
My question to you, (I obviously am not a PM, but Peter is) is by purchasing these etfs:
1)am I duplicating effort?
2)Am I diversifying sufficiently or too much?
3)Would you recommend I add or delete any suggested holding?
5)I have no specific sector ETF, as I can’t predict which one will outperform, is that ok?
Here they are:
Dividend: SDOG (unique approach)
Large Cap: PRF
Small Cap :IJK
Low Volatility: SPLV
Growth: IWY.
Thanks so much in advance for your advice/suggestions.
Sheldon

Q: I am looking at adding to Consumer Non Cyclicals and will be holding for the long term (5+ years). Do you have any suggestions that have good growth opportunities and look fairly attractive right now?
Q: How would you rank these 4 small caps with regards to value and growth. Which would you be most comfortable buying today?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Interested on your insights into this company. Early stage but sounds like a pending contract for their skin lightener could be worth 3 times their current market cap ++ and that is just one of their products in the pipeline. Recent volume and price increase seems to point to something transformative on the horizon.
Q: Cascades has had a significant drop this week and I have not found any news. I sold it prior to it's drop in price and I'm planning in starting a new position. could you please comment, thanks Valter.
Q: Would relatively small investments in each of Google, Facebook and Amazon seem reasonable at this time? Are there any others you would suggest? Thank you. Peter
Q: Corby Spirit and Wine versus Diageo plc (adr)
Please comment which is a better hold for long term capital growth and dividend growth.
I hold Diageo in a rrsp account to mitigate the fully taxable dividend and would hold Corby in a taxable account to take advantage of the dividend tax credit.
Thanks for the excellent service.

Q: I am looking to add to my consumer disc and consumer staples. What would be your top 3 in each category?
Q: Would appreciate your comparison between High Liner Foods and Clearwater Seafood regarding best choice for investment.
Q: Amaya's recent press release about 2015 full-year financial guidance finally presented some good news for investors for its upcoming results however my concern is regarding future guidance.
The press release announced the guidance for 2015 was based on an FX rate of CAD1.26 = USD1.00. With FX hovering around 1.40 now, would you expect 2016 future guidance to be lowered as a result, and where do you see the future valuation? We all know what happened when AYA announced Q3 earnings (and future guidance) with FX being a drag.

Q: Hi Peter and Team,
With the recent market turmoil and economic conditions expected for the next little while can you name 3-5 companies that you think would be absolute BUYs? Whether they are solid companies that have been brought down with the general market, or ones that can actually benefit from the current conditions.
Thanks,
Jordan
