Q: Thanks for the update on why weed is going up today based on the announcement in California. Why is this affecting Canadian stocks? Also, are there names in US that one can speculate on that are like weed and APH in Canada? Gas stocks in Canada seem to be tied to oil price. Lately, oil is going up but BIR and TOU hardly move. I am almost to the point of throwing in the towel for Canadian names given the political climate in Canada with regards to energy and pipelines. Any comments? Thanks again.

Q: Hello 5i,
can you help explain the fundamental service offering differences between these two companies. In my view they seem to be direct competitors to one another with little to differentiate them. Is the revenue model different between the two? What did PHM do to fall from grace? Which one would you invest in for a long term hold?

Q: LTV has just announced it's intention to make an "initial coin offering" (ICO) in mid 2018 in order to support further development of its block chain technology. I 'm not familiar with the ICO term and would appreciate your explanation of it. Hope all of you at 5i have a very restful and merry Christmas.

Q: Please forgive my attempt to confuse everyone at 5i. This Cannabis business & all its many names can be confusing. However, in my late evening email to you, I stupidly entered ACB instead of CBW. My basic concern was really whether this FV FARMA has the financing or the ability to get the financing to develop this very large project.

Q: Good morning and Merry Chrstmas 5i. Your past comments on Pure indicate that you believe there is a very low % of a better offer. I would tend to agree accept for the current price of the shares being so close to the offer price. Shares have traded above 8.90 since the offer and today shares hit 8.99. Obviously a buyer at that price would have to believe there is more at play here. Has your view changed based on this?
