Q: You mentioned "rate declines" in one of your comments on TFII yesterday. What exactly are the rate declines you refer to? Thanks.

5I RESEARCH ANSWER:

TFII is getting hit on rate declines and recession fears, so much depends on an investors' time frame. It may stay weak in the short term. But we think $95 would be quite attractive, and it could get there on some market weakness.

Q: I have trimmed some of my oil % gas stocks today back to my sector weight and would like to rotate the proceeds to other stocks. I already have the Balance Portfolio of stocks including MG at full position and was thinking of buying some LNR to complement MG or do you think there are other stocks in the Balanced Portfolio that you would consider more compelling at this time? Could you name your preference? Thanks.

Q: In my RRSP I am 7% over weight in the Energy sector and 1.17& under weight in Utilities.

Thinking of selling some of my ENB and split it between BIP.UN and FTS., to get my energy sector reduced and utilities increased.

Your comments are always welcome.

Thank you

Mike

Q: GSY stated in their Q4 financials that interest rates would need to rise by 2 per cent before any material impact would be felt in the business (due to floor agreements and fixed rates in place on current funding sources). Since then rates have risen .75 % and it looks like they will increase further. What is your guesstimate of how much higher they will rise to? If your guesstimate is above the 2% threshold, then how badly would that effect the business. How would that change your earlier thought that $125 share price would be an excellent buy.
