Q: Hello - I m very interested in the Webinar tomorrow (October 24th) but will not be able to attend. Will it be archived on the site for members to view at a more convenient time?
Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Staff,
Even though I 'thought' I had elected to receive some BIP shares with the sale of ECI, I notice today that all of my ECI shares were sold. Thanks again to 5i.:)
ECI was held in my TFSA, and my only Industrial holdings in this account are SIS and TFII. If I want to stay in the same sector, would you suggest deploying the new cash by adding to either or both stocks, or investing in a new Industrial stock or even an ETF like ZIN? Thanks as always for your valued advice.
Q: Should I take my 42% loss or hold on for better days ? Lucky for me it is a small position. Is it more related to the sector and economy and/or problems at the company ?
Your comments please.
Thank you !
Q: Yes, this morning in iTrade account, there was the cash received on the disposition from ECI shares. Yahooooo
And a big shout out to 5iR for including ECI in the Income Portfolio..........Tom
Q: Have owned CIX for some time and its way below the purchase price. Thinking of switching to FSZ. Is this a move you would recommend or is there still potential for growth in CIX. Which stock would be the safest in a downturn market.

Q: I have a position in Stantec, held it for many years and it is slightly underwater. I am considering selling it and moving on. My question is does the recent pop in the stock price mean there is likely to be positive momentum such that I should hold for a period of time, or just do a strategic thing, and sell it now?.......Tom
Q: tfii announced great earnings, increased divvy, getting hammered.
and gsy is just getting creamed.

where are you at with these 3 .dave
Q: When does FIH.U report ? And if I'm not mistaken the last quarter loss was largely due to the completion of the Bangalore airport purchase. Will there be further repercussions in this quarter from the purchase or are they back on track to earnings from the various entities they own ? Also US policy is hammering third world currencies. Does 5I see further erosion in the value of the Indian rupee in the near future ?
Thanks Garth
Q: Enercare Solutions (subsidiary of Brookfield Infrastructure) have a bond outstanding rated at BBB- Stable. About a six year bond. Would this be a bond worth holding?
Q: Does the recent Saudi controversy present a value opportunity here? How has the risk/reward outlooked changed in your opinion? What are your current views given a 5 yr holding period in a modest non registered account? Do you think downward ptessure will continue making patience the appropriate approach at this time? Please deduct at least 6 questions.
Q: I own HEXO in the weed space. I see this stock and other majors have been falling since legalization. What do you think accounts for this? I'm speculating that a lot of people enjoyed the run up but set the legalization date as their exit point because a lot of companies' stock price will go downhill once they start reporting earnings. I'm thinking about selling to crystalize my 15% gain which was a 40% gain a few weeks ago. Thoughts? Comments?
Q: Unfortunately I bought NWL a couple of months ago and it just keeps tracking down. Is it headed for zero? What are the factors involved in a potential recovery? Just sell and lick my wounds?

Q: Given the current state of the Canadian market, I have filled both registered accounts with US/international equities. Provided a US/international equity doesn't pay a dividend, are there any negative tax consequences from holding these shares in a non-registered account? Thank you.
