Q: Hello 5i. I am now planning to help my 30 year old daughter invest $10K of RRSP for a long term value. Can you recommend 3 stocks and 2 ETFs? As well, given current conditions, would you recommend equally spreading the investments over 3-6 months or invest in one full swoop given current conditions? Thank you!

Q: I’m yet another discontent WGX investor. Simply not confident in their future growth prospects! I’m looking at selling WGX and buying FOM. With respect to previous response to michaels intel question july 31 , Does the Nvda announcement of taking $5B stake in the company change your view? Share price has responded quite positively today.
Would 5i be interested in intel now going forward.

In addition AMD seems to have responded negatively to this news...how do you see this affecting its SP going forward and would you continue to hold AMD?

Q: If you held a Canadian small cap portfolio that included the following - BDT, BRM, DRX, E, HPS.A, LNF, MCB, TGH, TVE, TVK, WELL, and you wanted to upgrade the overall quality of this small cap portfolio by selling some of those and adding from the following list - ARIS, GRGD, GRID, KSI, MDA, RAY.A, VNP, ZDC, which ones would you sell from the 1st group, and which ones would you add from the 2nd group.

Q: A question was recently asked about whether gold has finished its run and you said no. I don’t think I have ever owned anything related to gold and i don’t know much about it. But, if it has more runway and we face a bit of an uncertain future, it may be time to test the water. I imagine some kind of etf, either US or Cdn would fit best. What would you suggest on each side of the border for someone in my position

Q: What is your opinion on whether or not Foran is worth investing in?
I see that Mark Carney has included Foran's McIlvenna Bay copper mine project in his recent announcement of five major projects he would like to see crossing the finish line. Any idea what this might mean?
I also see that Foran has been approved to earn up to C$70 Million in Transferrable Royalty Tax Credits from the Government of Saskatchewan.

Q: Just a comment....Warren Buffet is a legend worldwide...but in Canada...Peter Hodson is "The GOAT"...he has assembled a "Dream team" with Ryan Modesto, Chris White, & many others..to make the best...& only...research team/site to follow for success imo...the early picks of Nbis/q, Geni/q, Srad/q, Glxy/T...and many many more..have led to many winners along the way...best investment decision I ever made was to join 5i at the beginnig and will be a member for life...thanks for all you do, jb Piedmont QC

What are you thoughts about the latest report? I have shares in both TFSA and RRSP, would you sell and move onto another growth name? What do you suggest right now? When you have decided to switch to another name after an earnings report, do you sell right away or do you wait for the price to bounce back (or stabilize)? Thank you

Q: Hi 5i, Want to raise some cash in TFSA.
I have shares in KEL : I'm up 33% from purchase, KEL is down approx 6% this year, KEL does not pay a Div.
I have shares in PHX : Up 11% from purchase, PHX is down approx 19% this year, PHX pays a 10.6% Div.
Share values are < $5k each.
Given the outlook for Energy sector for the next year, would you recommend selling 1, or other, or both.
