Q: good day. I purchased MX about 6 months ago. It represents 1.5% of my portfolio. It's dropped about 19% since purchasing. I'd like your advice on whether I should add, hold or sell this position in favour of another stock in the sector. if the answer is sell, what could I replace it with? Thanks

Q: I hold some stock of MX and the stock is going sideway in the 40's though oil is hitting its peak.
What is your opinion on Methanex? Is it still worth holding it ?
How do you see the stock performing in the the remaining of 2021,2022.
thank you

Q: Looking to add to Materials sector for better balance in my portfolio. Methanex and Nutrient have got my attention. Your thoughts on one for a 3-5 y course would be appreciated.
Q: Hi, MX has just broken down below its 200 day moving average. Does that give you any change of heart from your most recent comments? Still a recovery play?
Q: Could I get your thoughts on Methanex. After a surge at the end of the year it has fallen off. I thought, like other material stocks, it would be a good recovery play

Q: I am rebalancing and need to add Material equities to my portfolio. Currently my only holding in that sector is MX:CA. Materials will represent 13% of the portfolio equal to my energy allotment. Generally speaking should I dispose of MX (because it is more or less energy focused)and start from scratch for sector investment? Can you provide some guidance on companies to check out? I have a 3-5 year horizon and like dividends.
Q: Hi, Methanex is dropping hard today following the release of their Q1 results, which at first glance looked good. Can you please provide your opinion on their results?

Q: What is your view on commodity prices relative to the recovery from the pandemic and/or the global efforts to curb carbon omissions? Is the demand outpacing supply and if so what are the companies or ETF's to hold over the coming years? Is there any particular metals that one should focus on?
Q: 5i Team,
What are the expectations for the upcoming q?
Do you see any red flags?

Q: After Yesterday's sell off do you still like MX. Agreed its volatile but in the growth part of a portfolio that already includes NTR does it bring more diversification? Would $42 be a good entry point?
Q: Hi 5i,
Over the next few years would you pick MX or NTR for minerals exposure?
Thx

Q: Hi team
I am aware that you do not put alot of stress into seasonal trade (seasonality)
of a stock
I would like to find out what is the seasonal trade trend (months or time of year)
for Methanex, looking for an entry point for a half position,
thanks,
Michael

Q: Just before it’s recent pullback I purchased a half position on good momentum. Is now a good time to add to it? I’ve been burned by Methanex before and am a bit hesitant.
Q: Hi Team,
Can you comment on the quarter?

Q: Methanex. Which companies would be comparable.I see bmo has us $60 target and it keeps going down?
Q: After you removed MX from your balanced portfolio, I waited a bit and ultimately sold for a bit of a higher price. I see that it's drifted back down to the $45ish range. Just wondering if this might be a good time to buy back in and whether there's anything in the short term that might send it back up to its recent high of $60. Thanks.
Q: can you please give earnings estimates and broker SP targets thanks
