Q: I was about to ask about HSE but saw Joseph had asked the exact same question I had... Husky is down over 3x more then other energy names in the last month... I work in the oil patch and while I’ve generally steered clear of the sector, HSE looks like a nice rebound trade to me. I was also thinking of pairing it with short on a name that has maybe outperformed. This would just be a small speculative trade. What are your thoughts? Thanks

Q: I hold this in my TFSA account book value $15.00 ,stock today below $10.00.Thinking of averaging down, your thoughts on Husky and buying more as there is no capital loss available in the TFSA? Also I hold HSE.PR.B series 2 in a open account and down 30% have held this for 5 years. Your recommendation on both holdings , buy hold sell or just cry? Thanks MJ

Q: Husky is in an unloved sector and has never been a preferred name in that sector for various reasons, but at $10.70 is it getting to a point where it should be considered over some of the usual go to names. The yield is decent and the balance sheet is good... not sure why it is getting punished so severely for a q that seemed within expectations.

Q: I am trying to clean up my Energy sector. I have the following: CPG, CVE, ERF, HSE, IMO, SU, TRP, VET, MX Could you please place them in order, starting with first to sell.

Also, could you please let me know which companies I should buy with the proceeds. I have a very long timeline, and I feel that companies that are rather low right now may jump a fair bit when the price of oil rebounds.

If there are any other companies that you would suggest to buy, please include them as well.

Thank you once again,

Fed

Q: Hi folks, comments please on Q4/18 results for Husky hse/t. They were bad as per most oil companies reporting Q4, but also problems at West White Rose & Lima. Would you start a position here in $14's for a rebound in stock/oil sector. Would you rate it a buy/hold/sell. Thanks as always, jb Piedmont Qc

Q: I'm looking to reduce exposure to the energy sector and harvest some tax losses. My holdings cover a range of energy companies with different strengths and weaknesses (gassy, oily, big cap, small cap) so equivalence is difficult to calculate. From the list of CVE, HSE, PGF, SGY, TOU and WCP in what order would you reduce these holdings?

As always, thanks for the excellent service.

Q: Haven't heard much about HSE since 2017 as far as questions go and now with the increase in dividend and low debt would you consider it a good time to get into? I have a love hate relationship with Enbridge but do hold their stock but feel I could use more in that sector. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Q: My "loss leaders" are CPG and ERF. My gainers are SU, HSE and CNQ. (Because of the entry prices) Should I sell my "losers" CPG/ERF and plough the proceeds in SU/CNQ? Or simply hold them till the recovery in the sector takes place? Or buy HWO which I own which is in slightly positive territory? Or any other company that you would suggest in the Oil/Gas sector? Like the pipelines.
Thank you.
