Q: Would you know much about Questrade’s new Securities Lending Program? It looks like everyone has to opt in when they log in to the platform, and it allows Questrade to lend out an investor’s stocks and ETF’s. Not sure how that works and why! The investor collects passive income but loses CIPF coverage, and according to Google, may not receive dividend payments while the shares are lent out. I’m not sure about it all so went in and opted out. Would you opt in? Thanks.

Q: Could you comment on acceptable position size range for BN?
Q: Hi Peter, interested in your short term and longer term thoughts on BRK since Warren's announcement that he the legend is passing the reins to Greg Abel this year while he (W) will maintain a more advisory role. We all knew it would come but lol though it's still rattling inc making many of us feel older as well. The stock will likely drop on this, especially when combined with the tepid quarter. How much of a premium is built in due to Warren vs if it was just another holding company. Greg Abel (from Edmonton) is obviously extremely capable and we love his humility, energy and endorsement but how will the market see this ? Where would you add ? Thank you.
Q: Hi team,
What are you're views on CS,s latest quarter? Seems like the tariffs uncertainties are keeping a lid on their stock price! If we are heading into a recession would it be best to sell now and revisit at the end of the recession ,if their is one? Also their debt ratio seems elevated.Looking for a two to three year hold.
Many thanks,
Jean

Q: With the recent drop in stock price, due to a misunderstanding of where their funding comes from, is the stock worth buying? and at what price? TIA
Q: I am looking at starting a position on Sprouts Famers Market, SFM. I would like to know its same store {organic} growth and its debt.
Thanks Valter

Q: hello 5i:
could you do a comparison between the above companies? Would you consider them competitors? If only buying one, which do YOU favour?
thanks

Q: Hello 5i,
It appears that OPEC + is driving the price of oil down to pressure North American oil producers and regain market share. What might happen to the price of natural gas if there is a significant slowing of NA oil production. Which companies could benefit from this? Thank you for your response.

Q: With the price of oil going down, do you think that it’s better to hold natural gas stocks and sell companies that produce mostly crude?

Brookfield Corporation Class A Limited Voting Shares (BN)

Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. Class A Limited Voting Shares (BAM)
Q: What is the 5 year return including dividends on Bn,Bam?
I notice their price is only $1. Apart, same year high of $90, yet Bam dividend is $3.75 U.s. while Bn is $.36 U.s.
Would Bam be the better choice for a 5 year total return?

Q: Would you buy Deck at this price now?
Q: Reports on May 5 after close. Do U think it will beat estimates of eps 13 and Rev $862m.Imvariably beat estimates.A current darling that is a outformer ytd.Reportedly signed lots of contracts, both Commrtcial & Governmental eg Nato,Ice.Also partnership with Samsung.Goog, Msft,& SpaceX & Anduril to bid for "Golden Dome" etc. What is the ratio of Inst & retail ownership?Lately very voliate after reports(think more to the upside).Do U think I should trim/ sell after massive gain(p/p $22),hold or add tomorrow.Txs for u usual great views & services.
Q: With the announcement today of a 24% cut in NASA's budget, including scrapping Gateway, the lunar space station, does this affect MDA enough that it is no longer a desirable stock to hold? The Canadian Space Agency had awarded MDA a $1 billion contract to build Canadarm3 for Gateway, so they have lost a major contract there.
Q: MDA is showing a substantial decline after an announcement; please, how does one find out what was announced? MDA's website has no information.
Q: Big drop today and I don't see any news. Have you seen what's causing the negative reaction?
Q: Thank you for the great investing advice 5I provides!
I'm wondering what your thoughts are on purchasing POW, (which is made up of 70% GWO) and pays a higher dividend, rather than purchasing GWO directly, which trades at a higher valuation?

Shopify Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (SHOP)
-
MercadoLibre Inc. (MELI)
Q: I want to like SHOP but get put-off by the (forward) P/E. MELI scores better on P/E and RoE and appears to have momentum. Then there's SE, which shares MELI's P/E but shows better RoE growth; OTOH, it's somewhat more opaque.
I can see how SHOP might stand out on the basis of its global reach (i.e., which offsets possible weakness in North America), but have to wonder if, in the new world order, SouthEast Asia is the territory for e-commerce growth; ideas?

Q: Surprised that no one has asked about this ETF. According to my BMO chart $10,000 invested 10 years ago would be worth over $90,000 today. May issue of your Money Magazine shows the 5 year average annual return to be 30.4%.
How come we've missed this? How would you characterize the risk

Westgold Resources Limited Ordinary shares (WGX)
Q: Could I please have your comments on the latest quarterly report from Westgold Resources - somewhat disappointing in view of some of the optimistic press releases they put out . Are they perhaps having problems in integrating the Karora operations ? Are they a buy , sell or hold ? Is there a better gold miner of a similar size in your view ?
Q: Can you discuss META as a company, and why you’re so bullish moving forward? Thanks
