Q: Good morning - With the market rising so nicely, it's timely for me to do some re-balancing. For fixed income, I have positions I xlb, xbb and XHY. What fixed income investments do you suggest these days. I could add to the above and/or to corporate bonds, if that makes sense. But, I am nervous about the prospects for Canadian companies as the Trump tariffs take their toll. What does your crystal ball reveal? Many thanks.
Q: What is your opinion on the Hamilton day max ETFS. SDAY / CDAY. Pretty new for much data or performance history.
Who / when would an investor benefit from these compared to regular enhanced yield ETFs?

Q: I see MFI is up 75% YTD and like AEM (up 68%) also setting all time highs. I think I can understand why AEM is up but not so sure on MFI. May I have your opinion on MFI’s performance and if it can continue going forward?
Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Q: Hi Team,
At present, I hold no discretionary stocks in my portfolio, and I am considering the ones listed above.
Could you please outline the key pros and cons of investing in each of them from a strong growth perspective? In your view, which have the best potential over the next 3 to 5 years?
Gratefully,

Q: Hi, after holding CVE for awhile and being under water, I'm finally nearly breaking even. After the new MEG deal, I wonder what people might think about selling it to get into other 'growthier' stocks long-term (like SHOP, LMN, PRL, for example, but open to other ideas as well).
Thank you!
Thank you!

goeasy Ltd. (GSY $209.38)
Q: I noticed you prefer KSX over DSG recently, and I’m wondering why. Or is GSY the better choice of the three? I have held all three for a few years and due to timing issues I have a much higher gain on DSG and GSY. I know past performance does not guarantee future results, but can’t get over my negative bias towards KSX. Also I have too many different stocks and know I should concentrate more. (I.e. 20 vs 30+)

Can you please give me your thoughts on Intuit after their earnings? The market doesn't seem especially pleased. Would you consider it a hold or sell? Thanks.

Q: which do you see has more upside potential in the next few years?
Q: I have held BNS in my cash account for several years and the stock has been essentially flat. I am looking to replace it with HCAL. There would be minimal capital gains tax and they have essentially the same yield. HCAL has 1.25 leverage to the big Cdn banks. Thinking of the tendency of individual banks reverting to the mean , am I selling BNS at the wrong time as it does seem to be participating in the industry’s strength of late. What do you think of this move ?
Thanks. Derek.
Thanks. Derek.
