At what share price will FTN discontinue its dividend? I know you've mentioned split share dividends are dependant on NAV but how does one find the NAV value? I cant seem to find it??
How do you view dividend going forward .....?
Does current dividend look like it in trouble at these levels?

And are the preferred dividends fixed or subject to adjustment ?

Q: I rely on you for accurate information when reading answers to questions. however my research shows that VEQT holds a basket of funds not individual stocks. I hate paying more taxes than I need to and always look for the lowest fees and taxes when investing. Please confirm holdings of this fund. Thank you.

Q: I believe the current market downturn provides opportunity. I would like your insight into the following two questions; along the lines of "be greedy when others are fearful".

First, recognizing a 2-3 year hold is very, very short term thinking, what are 3 companies with dividend bearing stock that you feel would be in the top 10% of performers as the market recovers.

Q: I initiated a starter position in ISRG & IJR several months ago in the U.S. growth portion of my RIF. Currently down approximately 5% for each. Considering selling IJR (1% of total diverse portfolio) and putting funds into ISRG (2% of total portfolio) . Or trimming a bit of my NVDA (8% of total portfolio with great gains) and adding to ISRG and CRWD (1.5% of total portfolio and still with a small gain) . Have been hit with decision paralysis!

Q: historically the risk in holding US Gov't debt has been very low. Now it seems we are only 1 Truth Social Post away from the next crazy Policy experiment. I believeTrump questioned whether they really owe all the Debt and may have even questioned the need to pay it.

When holding US Gov't debt in the form of US T Bills or similar has my risk ticked up since Jan 26th and would you say US Gov't debt is still much safer than say a TD US GIC (Corporate Debt)? Are there short term cash proxies you would avoid in this market due to recent admin change?

Lastly does this never ending talk about the US Debt ceiling and possible Gov't shutdown create risks for holders of US financial instruments?

1. If we are heading for recession, what industries/companies would be best positioned to recover first and "benefit" from the current situation?
2. On the scale from Covid to Great Depression, where would you place us speculatively as the result of Trumpconomics?

Q: This companies sales are 46% in Canada and 54% in the US and it operates 16 manufacturing facilities. As far as I can tell, what it sells in Canada it produces in Canada and its sales in the US are produced in the US. In this regard I see little effect from the tariffs except for juice concentrates, and plastic resins which it imports from the US for its Canadian juices and plastic bottles. Are you able to confirm the accuracy of my thesis in this regard? It reports on March 19 and with the stock near 52 week highs I am trying to anticipate any negative surprises. Other than tariff issues is there something else I am missing which could produce a negative surprise with its sales/earnings? Do you see it as a buy, sell or hold?
