Q: Could I have your thoughts on AC? Specifically current stock price run up vs business prospects? The sentiment and the stock trajectory is good but everything has its limits. I am looking for a reason to sell (so is the stock still a buy?). AC has grown to 3.5% of my portfolio (up 40% now).

Q: Would you consider KEY a reasonable buy at today's prices to be held for dividend and some minor growth? Is there another company you would prefer for the same objectives of dividend and growth? Would you prefer KEY to ALA in view of the latter's potential current issues?

Q: Your answer to the dividend ratio payout for IPL over the past six months is in the 85% range. Over the past couple of years has this ratio been increasing? For an income investor would you consider this dividend payout ratio getting to the area of concern and if so what dividend stock would you consider replacing IPL with either in the same sector or another sector.
Thanks,
Bob

Q: Has your view on HBG changed for the positive since your last comment appearing June 30, 2016? Has it grown its assets under management much since then? Is there a minimum dollar investment required in this ETF within an RRSP? Mike Newton of I believe Scotia Bank recently had HBG as a top pick on BNN around October 6-7/16 or thereabouts.
Q: The 3-year stock price chart looks excellent. Teacher's just bought the Canadian wine business. The stock was down today. What is your read on the future stock performance based on these circumstances?
Thanks for a great job.

Q: Hi 5i. I was interested in your reply today to Shyam regarding XLV, where you noted that it has had "better performance of late". My records show that XLV price has dropped steadily over the last 3 months by 6%.
This leads me to my question : We hold XLV and PSCH (Powershare Small cap Healthcare ETF) in our non-registered account (< 2% of our total equities). Our cap gains on these have been reduced from 15.8% to 8.9% (XLV), and 14% to 9.7% (PSCH) respectively over the last 3 months.
My theory is that these will continue to drop as we get ever-closer to the U.S. election. I am thinking of selling both of these ETF's while they still give us a reasonable profit of approx. 9 and 10% respectively, and then waiting out the election fallout before deciding whether to get back into Healthcare.
We would appreciate your comments. Thanks T.
p.s. PSCH did not come up in the "companies" list

Q: With Constellation Brands selling its wine business to OTPP for over $1B, how does this reflect on ADW and the company's valuation? Thanks.

Q: Because of the recent stock split, I have both class A and class C shares of Under Armour. Is there any reason to think that one class of shares will outperform the other? Or, put another way, Which class of shares should I sell first? Or is there any value in selling a equal portion of both and remain holding both classes of shares ?
Q: Hi,
I need to prune my financials and I am down to looking at DIV and AD. In looking at DIV, the question I ask is, "Would they have sold Franworks if they weren't confident that they had something in line to redeploy the cash into?" With AD, it is "When will they be able to get some resolution with troubled partners?"
In any otherwise balanced portfolio, which of the two companies would you choose to keep at this time?
Regards,
Robert
