Q: Hi,

I’m looking to either add to or start a new position in my TFSA, 3-5 year timeline (or longer), with a high risk tolerance. Can you suggest a few companies (no preference Can/US). I currently already have small positions of both Topicus and Eglx inside my TFSA, so I’m also considering just adding the new funds to either of these. Thanks for the great service you provide!

Q: On 7/30 in your response on a question regarding DND you said "DND, even in a privatization, might only have another 10% potential." Can you please elaborate on that?

I have BEPC and DND in my RRIF and I need to sell one of the two to raise the cash to meet the regular monthly payout requirement next month. If DND's upside is that limited BEPC would be the one to keep since it pays a better dividend and the prospect of renewable energy stocks should rebound much more. Your insight is much appreciated. Thanks.

Q: what would be a good sector to invest in with possible market downturn scenerios?

I've heard some people say commodities are a good play in a downturn espeically due to inflation but I can't see how they would be due to demand destruction from higher prices.

I think bonds and equities would both suffer - it seems they are more co-related nowadays.

Can you recommend a safe haven in anticipation both a credit-binge/inflationary-based downturn as well as a credit-bust/deflationary downturn?

Q: Hi 5i,

I currently have a small investment in each of these two companies (NLC:CA and SLI:CA). The share price for both companies has increased significantly in the last couple of weeks and has generally been fairly volatile. I invested into the companies in the expectation that lithium mining will prove to be more lucrative in the near future due to the need for lithium in producing batteries for electric cars. I'm not sure if the share price is too high though at the moment or if this is only the beginning of the growth. I am unsure whether I should invest more into these companies right now or hold off for now. Do you have a target price for either of these companies? Do you have any reservations about either one? Is there a better Lithium mining company that I should shift to? Thank you!
