Q: Good afternoon,
With the spin out of Equinox's copper assets "Solaris Copper Inc. I received a letter from my brokerage firm informing me the shares of Solaris have been deemed to be a non-qualified investment for registered plans under the income tax act. Without getting into the penalties that may be incurred, can I forget the letter since my shares are in my TFSA.

Q: Disregarding the yield, would you buy the 2 country-specific ETFs or stick with the international ETF. I understand this is an apples vs. oranges type of question. Over a longer term, would there be a growth advantage with ZCH and XID over ZDI. Thank you.

Q: Can you comment on QBR in relation to its prospects related to its redemption notice of outstanding 4.125% convertible unsecured subordinated debentures due October 15, 2018. It had good results recently and I am questioning whether there are better alternatives such as Transcontinental.
Kirkland Lake and gold have recently lost their lustre ad momentum. In light of the political chaos globally, is this a hold or can you suggest other options in the mining space?
