Please provide your thoughts on the quarter out of XBC.
Thanks!

5I RESEARCH ANSWER:
Revenue of $19.6M was $1M ahead of estimates; EPS loss was slightly below. Revenue rose 53% but EBITDA shifted to negative $0.1M from +$1.8M and was below estimates. Backlog rose $22M to $85.5M. Cash is $60M. Revenue guidance was maintained but costs have increased and profit guidance has been retracted, which will disappoint some. Some of the additional costs are Covid-related. The conference call is later today and we will get more info.
Q: I have some additional dollars to put to work and have narrowed my choices down to the above companies. Looking at growth over a 3-5 year period, which one would be your top choice? Any relevant comments would be appreciated.
Thanks for your great advice as usual. ram
Q: Hi gang, would it be safe for me to buy the whole portfolio ETF from canadian MoneySaver. ( Model portfolio) 2-3 years time line . Or some changes? I have $150,000. Cash for conservative investing. Thanks. Alnoor
Q: When will the 5 for1 split happen ? Should I buy now or wait until split is done? What would your best guess be for the price after split? What is your opinion of Tesla as an investment in terms of electric cars and other phases of Tesla ?
Cheers, Doug
Q: Hi Peter, what is your opinion on the 5 for 1 stock split for Tesla and 4 for 1 for Apple? Are past stock splits in your experiences generally sound investments (for profitable companies that is) for special situations? Thanks!
Q: Ifn the event we are seeing a shift from growth to value stocks could you identify five value stocks in Canada and the US that would make good investments at this time?
Q: Hi,
Both of these companies have recently announced stock splits. AAPL for the umpteenth time, TSLA I think for the first time. While I understand the logic behind a stock split, I am curious as to the usual market reaction. With our current electronic trading, does a split still have weight in attracting new buyers because the price point has decreased? I you were to initiate a new position on either of these companies would you do so in advance of the split, or wait until after? Is there a 'usual' response that occurs - such as just before a split prices rise, or they fall just after a split, etc. Any thoughts on this would be most welcome! If you were to start a new position how would you rank these two companies against adding to a current position in MSFT? Thanks, as always, for your hard work and insight.

Q: Would like to create a 2 etf portfolio in the 500k range for my elderly parents, considering VBAL for the TFSA account and VCNS for the unregistered account. They will likely never have a need to access these funds but of course are risk adverse at their age. Thoughts on this approach, better options for ETF's ?
