Q: I have the above losing stocks in my rrsp. Do you see any that I should let go and replace with something else? Sgy and pd are particularly painful to look at! The ok stocks I have in it are bns, engh and pbh. A good few years before I start cashing in. Thank you.

Q: I've been looking over FRU since I saw your most recent answer to a Q about it. Seems remarkable the it is now trading at a price last seen in 2000! It is trading below it's 2008 low. My question is: Considering that oil is a declining asset has this company managed to increase its land holdings in oil over the last 20 years or is it on a slow decline? Also, how did it perform in the 2008 Great Recession?

Q: I currently have about 10% of my portfolio in money market funds or cash. For a while this seemed like a good idea and I have seen other portfolios with cash. but its over a year now and the cash just gets more and is earning very little. I see from some other questions-answers that you do not recommend holding much cash. what do you think I should do? Reduce the cash? and to what extent? I have no need for cash now and have a moderately sized line of credit if there were an emergency. thanks

Q: I read tonight from the 5i report that FSV recently bought a commercial real estate management company. I thought when FSV and CIGI split FSV would manage residential real estate and CIGI would manage commercial real estate. If this is true is the most recent acquisition troubling as FSV is getting out of its level of expertise (managing residential real estate)? Will it now be in direct competition with CIGI?
