Q: Hi 5i team,
I'm thinking of buying VGRO Vanguard Growth. I like the fact that it is one balanced ETF for global diversification and rebalancing by itself. However, I've read comments that the funds are not optimized for tax efficiency. What does this mean? Is it appropriate to be held inside TFSA? Any better ETFs suggestions? Thanks.

Q: Hello 5i,
Could I have you thoughts on the growth prospects of LivePerson(LPSN)?
The technology sounds like it has amazing potential or is it hype? Any competition?
Thanks
Dave

Q: Could you please summarise the dividend policy for this pref.
I am thinking if buying it for income - is it a "trap"?
Is there a better pref at 6% +/- yield?
Thanks

Q: Hi
I currently own GILD. Should I sell it and switch to BIIB or any other biotech. What are your thoughts about medical distribution companies (ABC, CAH, MCK) Which one would you recommend and any threat from Amazon. Should healthcare plans companies be part of healthcare portfolio and which one do you recommend.
Great service
Thanks
Ninad

Q: I've done very well with SHOP (thanks to 5i) but it has grown to 12% of my overall portfolio. I really like to let the winners run, and am quite risk tolerant, however I am considering selling 20% and reinvesting the proceeds. I plan to top up KXS, which seems has good momentum, but need some other suggestions. What other technology stocks would you suggest at this time? Options outside of tech would be appreciated too.

Q: 1:03 PM 2/24/2019
I am increasingly concerned about the financial stability and credit quality of several of my investments.
Could you please provide the S&P or DBRS issuer rating or bond rating of : ENB, TRP, PKI, BCE, CSW.A, AW.UN, SIA.
This information is very difficult for me to find and is often quite dated. Could you suggest a source I could use.
Thank you........... Paul K

Q: Hi,
Can I have your opinion on Metlife. I have held it for a while but it hasn't moved. However, it pays a nice dividend. Worth holding on?
Thanks

Q: I would like your opinion on Enova International (ENVA). I have had good success with GoEasy and this seems to be a similar type company with operations in the US, UK and Brazil. Any comments/ thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Q: I looked at insider trading on Canadian Insider web site. Between Oct 18-Jan 21st 2019, insider buying is huge. I see directors buying 1.6 million shares. Others, Joseph Crumb 3.4 M. Chiabra Tommasso also director 2.0 M.
Roy Sebag CEO 6 trades for 525 thousand shares. Also for XAU , he purchased in 5 trades 863 thousand shares. I do not normally check insider trading activity, but this seems out of the ordinary. Please verify my numbers. If exact, have you seen such large insider buying before ?
If so, would you recommend taking a position in Mene.
thanks for your help.

Q: Just a comment for some additional perspective on the automatic share transaction plan of CSU's CEO: If today's share price action was a result of the announcement that the CEO may be selling up to 100 shares per week for a year (up to 5,200 shares), then the sellers who were bailing out are just being nutty. At the rate of 100 shares per week, it would take him approximately 84 years to divest himself of his current CSU shares position. Now there's an investment horizon for you!
Q: Pollard Banknote last reported earning Nov6 . Do you know when they report their 4th Q results

Q: Hello, I would like to know how you determine the valuation of a company. It seems every industry is assigned different pe ratios. How is that established? Once a company reaches a valuation does that mean it is time to sell?
Q: Why is it doing so poorly? Should I jump the PKL ship?
Q: Should I buy a 2 year GIC at 2.8% or a bond fund say XBB.?
Can you also explain your reasoning.

Q: ETF tax advantage question again.
Could you expound on the different types of taxes on XEC which is an Canadian listed ETF holding emerging markets via IEMG vs holding the IEMG directly which you recommend, to be a better holding for tax purposes in an RRSP account and a non registered account?
In both my RRSP and non registered accounts there doesn't appear to be any taxes withheld when looking at the transaction history, just the dividends. Is it taxed before dividends are paid? You say it would save a layer of tax. Is there more then one?
Other then the articles recently read in you Money Saver Magazine and on the ETF newsletter is there anyway of knowing or finding out which ETF's are better suited for each accounts, tax wise? When will Mr. Mahrezs' part 2 of favorite ETFs for individual accounts be published?
Thanks
Jeff
