Q: Can you tell me about the financial condition of Denison? Can it continue as a going concern? It its September 2019 report, it stated that it "does not have sufficient liquidity to meet all its obligations over the next 12 months". I note its revenues for the last 12 months was only about $14 M. They have raised a bit of money with some financings. How long do you think the company can last? I wanted to invest in a uranium company, anticipating higher future prices in the next 2-3 years when the cycle (hopefully)turns. I thought Denison was reasonably safe, but maybe not. Would you be a buyer here? Thanks.

Investment Q&A
Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.
Q: Have you ever thought about offering your portfolios as ETFs? With the trend towards index investing and ETFs rather than individual stocks I would think a lot of people would love this! I can't bring myself to buy the TSX60 as it's such an unbalanced and terrible index, but if you offered for example the balanced portfolio as an ETF with a reasonable MER I would buy it in a heartbeat. It would make managing my portfolio a breeze. Cheers, Andy
Q: I'm looking for some growth prospects with a more speculative mindset. What companies would you recommend?
Q: What would be your top 3 energy stocks at this time?

Q: Can you hold OTC stocks in RRIF or TFSA? If not what happens if a security goes OTC? Thanks
Q: I'm a little confused about how gold in Canada is reacting the last few days. When I check the US, ie SPDR gold, I see gold up strongly. Today GLD is up 1.42%. Canadian gold miners, though, are mostly down, today and over the last few sessions. GLD is up 2.54% over the last five sessions while XGD is up only 0.31% What explains this?
Q: I find Insider Filings quite confusing. Would the following entry for ATD Couche-Tard indicate that the company is buying back shares? Thank you.

Q: CPD was a disaster and I sold it for loss. Now I'm looking at XPF - it held up better and the US exposure may add diversification. What do you think? Or should one give a miss to these pref ETFs altogether?
Thank you

Q: Not sure how I ended up with his company in my portfolio....obviously I'm not paying attention. Who are they? Are they worth holding? I prefer dividend paying stocks but if theres a bright future I'd hold onto them. I bought QST at 42 cents way back when and have done well with that non dividend paying stock.
Q: Good morning and Happy New Year to all at 5i,
Portfolio Analytics tells me to increase my US and international exposure. Please suggest some ETFs that would accomplish this goal, and at the same time provide a dividend (even a small one) and have growth prospects. This would be for this year's TFSA investments. Thanks in advance for your valued advice.

Q: What would be your best recommendations for investing new funds in TFSA, irrespective of sector?
Q: Hi 5i Team,
I am looking to invest in gold. Are there any ETFs that you would recommend? What individual stocks would you recommend?
Thanks as always,
Jon

Q: Hi team,
I have purchased ARX five weeks ago and am up 23%.Comments from fund managers have been very positive ,with the dividend safe and the debt load not overly large.I am looking for a small cap oil company that also pays a dividend in the 4to5% range, and has solid growth prospects.Could you recommend two or three names and should I sell half my position on ARX?
Thanks, and all the best in 2020.

Q: Hi 5i experts,
I recently am watching the XLK that seems has the same holding company as ZQQ has but the risk is much lower than ZQQ. As a Canadian investor, should I keep XLK instead of ZQQ? which one has better return? and tax efficient?
Thanks,
Alice
