Q: Hello, I just sold Badger given its dramatic rise today. I like to sell high and by low. I have been watching Airboss and it appears to be well priced. Would you recommend buying Airboss to replace Badger.

Q: Good afternoon.

Lesson learned on Concordia. You win some you lose some. Just keep the winners high and the losses small. Easier said than done. I am completely out of Concordia as per your email. Walk away and forget. Down about $6,500.00

My question is on Amaya Gaming. How did the earnings look and why the big drop around mid day? Will this turn out better than CXR ? I understand that they are two completely different companies and not the same situation. Lastly my weightings are 4.14 % in AYA and 1.19 in AYA.US Is this an ok weighting or two much.

Thanks
Jimmy

Q: Concordia - Due to the fact I bought it at such a high price and doubled down more than once it became more than 10% of my portfolio and I still own it because I got your bailout email. By the time I got to read my email it was after 4:00. Many BNN guests had it as a top pick so it influenced my impression of it. They managed to keep secrets on how bad they were just like Sino Forest and I am concerned that other companies will do the same to get people to buy stock in their company. On the lighter side of things, I have Lundeen (LUN) which is starting to die out and I am considering switching to IVN as it seems to be on the upswing. Your opinion please. Dennis

Q: Hello 5i,
I try to heed the advice to diversify into U.S. stocks because they have stocks which we just don't have here in Canada. I have been wondering what some of these stocks might be for a fairly conservative, retired investor?

Right now I have the following companies:
3M
Apple
Calmaine foods
Goodyear Tire and Rubber
Conagra Foods
IBM
Pepsico
Proctor and Gamble
Bank of America

I have Calmaine for selling options on and it may go some day. I know that no one likes IBM but i believe it will turn around and pays a good dividend in the mean time.

But, I was wondering what to add or subtract from this list in order to have a well balanced, U.S. portfolio?

I have thought of adding Disney and Johnson and Johnson. I have looked at your suggestions, such as EBIX, NOC, LLL, JPM, GILD and ITRI and they look very interesting but maybe not for a person in my position.

I would certainly appreciate your thoughts on this process.
thanks
