Q: I've been doing some calculating...

Currently Canopy growth has about 40M in sales on 58,000 registered patients out of a possible 208,000 - that's about 28% of the medical market.

A recent CBC poll came up with about 8 million recreational users in Canada that would potentially buy pot once legalized. Given Canopy Growth's market dominance (and many other factors) it's not hard to see their sales topping $1 Billion/yr. within the next 5 years.

My questions: Would Canopy still be considered over-valued at their current market cap if their sales were $1 Billion? What's the minimum you would expect a company's market cap in the recreational marijuana sector to be if it had sales of $1 Billion?

Q: Hello!

Canopy Growth Corp:
I have read your recent report regarding Cannabis industry which was very encouraging as far as the future if the industry with few reservations namely revenue ramp up period and emergimg market risks. I hold a significant position in Canopy Growth and was wandering about whether the stock has actually bottomed in your opinion, especially given todays sharp drop?

Teck:
What is your opinion on a long position in Teck? The company appears to be trading at a discount.

Apple:
I also hold a significant position in Apple. What are your thoughts in the companys sustainability as far as earnings growth in the next while with addition of the iHome speaker and iPhone 8 release. I am prepared to keep holding onto it. Is this a good strategy in your opinion?

Thanks in advance!

Q: Hi,
I'm young and have good income, good risk tolerance and no need to withdrawal any of my investment dollars anytime soon. I'm looking for long term growth mostly. Currently I hold the listed stocks, do you see any names that jump out as really bad/ should sell? Is anything really lacking and maybe should be added? Right now everything is held in a tfsa.

Thanks!
Dave

Q: Now Canada is getting closer to legalizing Cannabis.
Why are Canopy, Aphria, Aurora all going down so much suddenly?
How would you rate them and which one do you like the best?
What is the best way to invest in this new industry?
Thank you.

Q: What type of backlash should be expected now that is it known that Mettrum has been willingly poisoning their customers with myclobutanil?

Will Canopy face the risk of legal damages?

Q: Hi,
I have a few thousand dollars to put into something looking for high potential growth. I have many years I can wait, don't need income (but all drips available are being utilized). Without considering portfolio weightings which of these would you consider to have the most upside? I'm totally ok with risk, as I have the well balanced, safer part of my portfolio in place. If not any of these could you offer a few other names please. If you like the names I've listed could you rank them in order of preference for high growth?

Thanks!

Q: With the Bloomberg article yesterday on the potential bubble in Marijuana stocks in Canada (also you have warn us about these stocks), I was wondering if there was a way to profit from this. Would you suggest shorting 3 or 4 of these stocks? And if so do you have some suggestions?

Thanks

Q: Just wanted to say it is a good thing that 5i was and is consistent with answering questions for many members.

It has become obvious to me that many members can only see 1 way of making $$$ and they depend on others to direct their investing thoughts for them. Considering we all do not have the time or interest to do otherwise 5i is of great value to them.

Myself, who has posted both here and in the Forum about the cannabis stocks, have always said they were traders only in my opinion.

This is the 2nd or 3rd (memory) time they have had momentary spikes over the past ~ decade.

Personally I invest for the very long term (+20 years), use DRIP's, shorter time frames & have the ability to Day Trade when I see obvious profits.

I have made enough trading the Cannabis stocks to cover my 5i membership for the remainder of my life +++.

Thanx for the steady hand you present to all the "Investors" of varying abilities.
