: Is there a USA or CDN ETF that your team would recommend similar to CSH.UN, SIA or SIS. Is there any news why SIS is selling off with high volume.

In the US, three to look at are SNH, HCN and LTC
Ventas VTR is also interesting, owning seniors' housing and medical office buildings.
There is no news on SIS, but energy/metals have been very strong and there might be some rotation occurring this week.

Q: Perusing today's, June 7/16 , Globe and Mail Investor Data Tables I noticed a curious stock mentioned-ACE Aviation Holdings. It is priced at .57 cents and pays an almost 65% div. I tried to investigate further but any info I found was not clear to this tyro. Please, what do you see when you delve into your sources?

Q: Greetings to the 5i team. The last question I noted on sector weightings was quite some time ago now. Your response to a member asking about weightings for an income oriented portfolio was I believe as follows: 10% Cons Disc, 15% Cons Staple, 5% Energy, 15% Fin, 10% Health, 10% Indust, 5% Real Est., 5% Tech., 10% Telco, 15% Utilities (no allocation to materials at that time, although I know you have advocated a 5% "insurance" in gold in the past). Would you please indicate any changes to those percentages if you were to answer the same question today? I'd also be interested in how they might change if the question was for a more income/growth balanced portfolio. On a side note, I think I consider my membership fee
mostly for research but partly for therapy, since I find your reasoned responses to various market fears a calming influence! Cheers,

Q: Hi Peter and Team - In a question today which asked you to decide on which oil and gas stocks you would keep out of a list of several, I noticed that Surge was not on the list of keepers. Is this just because the others were better or do you have concerns about Surge at this point. From previous answers it sounds like Surge is on the right track to recover with higher oil prices. Does this remain the case. Also could you give me an update on insider ownership and your opinion of management. Thanks.

Q: I have a question about brookfield real estate, why are the shares so under followed and under appreciated? with an 8% yield and shares up nicely since last earnings and share price pushing all time highs you would think there would be more talk about it?

it has a strong dividend that has been increased several times recently and shares continue to appreciate, i think this is a very undervalued company, your thoughts?

are investors afraid of its small size? or its connection to real estate? lets face it, if the real estate bubble bursts in toronto and vancouver (which makes up 1/3 of realtors biz) people will still need to sell these inflated properties

Q: I want to increase my holdings in real estate as a contrarian play, and also increase my received dividends.
I am looking at SOT.UN and it has an expected dividend of over 9% and earnings that are more than double that. It made a deal with Fortis recently, and Fortis received shares as part of the deal. I figure Fortis is pretty astute. I would be interested in your opinion.
Is there anything to read into the fact that no questions have been asked about this company on your website. I like to buy things whilst they are still "under the radar"?

Q: I hold this from last year {2015} when in the model portfolio. I am still down but if momentum is any indicator should I continue to hold or sell and( move into maybe SJ also 2.5% currently.) FM has come back big time to a 2% position from an original 2.5%.

Q: Dream Office REIT is underperforming the REIT index especially recently.
