Q: Good evening!
Looking to add to my portfolio, and these are all high dividend payers. Could you rank them with regard to safety (primarily preservation of capital with low chance of potential problems on any visible horizon), and then also rank them from best grower to worst grower? Please take credits you think are fair.
Thanks! Paul K

Q: I have a small amount in this fund: PGF510:CA and with my reinvested drip my funds have gone up 6-7% a year on average. I'm thinking of adding a more substantial amount. Could you look at this fund for me and tell me what you think re: MER (is paying the higher fees worth it?), performance, what the stocks fair value price is, risk vs reward, forward looking etc. With the thought interest rates could soften, but then possibly go back up in the longer term, what is a good entry point? And how much risk does an investor take on going with smaller investment firms? Thanks so much.

Q: Good afternoon 5i team,
What are your views of MDI's latest results? Investors took it positively with the stock up 13.50% on the day.Looking forward to the next 12 to 18 months the company gave a very positive outlook on it's clients signing large deals for it's services.Do you still view the shares as undervalued and would you recommend accumulating?
Many thanks,
Jean

Q: Hi,

I have a Lump sum and I have close to an equal 25/25/25/25% split for these etfs/company. because i am in my low 40s i want to make sure i get my growth somewhat better in my younger years. Do you think this would be acceptable or should i be leaning more towards a xeqt/vfv split?

Q: Can you please explain why or why not it is important to have bond funds in one's portfolio. I have been reluctant to buy as during COVID market crash my bond funds, did very poorly at a time when I thought they would provide stability. Since my fixed income was supposed to be the worry-free part of my portfolio I have not reentered bond funds and choose GICs for fixed portion. The same happened with preferred shares years ago. Why would one not just buy a bond where your principle is guaranteed if you hold until maturity? Are these bond funds doing what they are supposed to do and what are the benefits of a bond fund as opposed to just buying the bonds outright? Is money earned still taxed as interest in a a bond fund? For someone with no bond fund exposure what would you suggest?

Q: Ross Healy, who typically does not make sensational statements lightly, spooked me yesterday during a podcast interview with Amber Kanwar. He sees tech stocks dropping 60% which will invariably pull other types of stocks down for the ride. He suggests moving to gold... could you suggest a couple gold stocks with strong balance sheets? A mix of large, mid and small caps would be great. Thanks!
