Q: I am considering adding LSPD or TOI to my TFSA. I know that you are favourable on both and that LSPD is higher growth, higher risk. I would appreciate that being quantified: what is the future % revenue growth and forward sales multiple for each company and at their current price, which do you consider the better risk/reward choice.
Also, when are they each scheduled to report earnings?
Thanks...Glenn

Q: It's been a long time since anybody ask your option on RBA so when you have time I will appreciate your take on the company. thanks. Harry
Q: This company looks very interesting to me especially recent results. I have a very small position but am considering adding more in a small cap / speculative portfolio. What do you think of the company? Do you think it’s a good buy? Thanks
Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide some insight into the shortage of chips and the disruption this is causing. In particular is the lack of supply due to raw materials and if so which materials, manufacturing capabilities, transportation holdups, or any other factors. Also do you have an educated guess as to approximately when the situation could start to ease up. Thank you.
Q: As a follow-up to my recent question on UPST, why do you think the consensus is a slight decline in earnings for Q3 and Q4 in 2022? E\This caught me by surprise, specially given the forecast for a large increase in revenues and the recent acquisition you mention (re auto loans)
Q: can I please have your thoughts on this one...why the sell off and do you think there is value at an entry point around here...107ish? for a 2-4 yr hold?
Q: Hello Peter and Staff
I have 2 questions on this security.
a) What fees are buried in this ETF?
b) Is the price you pay per unit based on the value of the securities held by that ETF divided by units outstanding or just what investors are paying because they want to own this ETF? If that is the case , is it really a good way to own the six companies ?
Thanks for all you do
Dennis

Q: Is it time to sell NPI ? Analysts are still recommending a buy but at the same time it is continuing to drop in price.
Q: Happy New Year to everyone at 5i!!!! All the best in 2022.
Qualcomm vs Broadcom??
Which company would be your choice for a long term hold? Could you please provide your reasons why?
If not these companies, do you have any other favourites in this space?
Thanks
Dave.

Q: Happy New Year 5i. Do you think investors should have a portion of their portfolio invested in the Chinese economy? Can you provide a recommendation on the best way to get exposure to China for a small portion of our portfolio? Something that we can just buy-and-forget for 10+ years? Thanks
Q: I bought a small position of lspd at $78, watched it rally to $150. Did nothing which in hindsight I should have sold but I'm in it for more. Dropped to days price of $45. It has kinda of a 'blood is in the streets' feel right now. . Doubled the still small position to average $62. I can hold this one for a really long time. Am I crazy or am I sitting pretty?
Q: What is your viewpoint of this company. Buy sell or hold?

Q: I have 5,000 cash in my RRSP come available. I plan to retire in 4-5 years and am looking for a reliable dividend paying stock(s) or ETF(s) to put this money into and forget about it.
Can you please provide a recommendation for this cash. Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i,
What is the rationale to invest in sector-specific ETFs rather than index funds? It seems like the index themselves typically perform quite well compared to ETFs unless one is looking to gain exposure in a specific sector.
Looking back to Adam's question on 06-Jan regarding 2021 performance:
S&P 500: 28.7%
TSX: 25.1%
Here I thought I was doing reasonable with my 16%...
I certainly enjoy investing and learning about specific stocks and ETFs but this difference is hard to ignore.
Thanks,
Kyle

Q: Hello Peter, Can I have your opinion please?
I am wondering if it might be a good idea to reduce my holdings in gold and silver stocks (maybe exit all my positions?), at least until May and buy some in the energy sector from the proceeds.
The reason behind this stems from yields going up- maybe the 10 yr goes to 2%. How likely is that? Apparently, the seasonal period of gold starts in summer.
My stocks in gold are at both ends of the large/small caps such as AEM/KL,FNV, KRR,MMX,WDO and PAAS.
I am under represented in energy with ENB,PPL and ALA.
What would be your suggestion? And if you agree, could you give me 1or 2 names to let go and 1 or 2 names to add.
Always appreciative of your thoughts.
Regards
Rajiv

Q: I have quite a lot of financials, mostly Canadian banks and insurers with about 20% US. Would like to sell down some and buy something with some more growth in the payment section but still relatively conservative.
Would you recommend one of MA, V, Pypl or other financial as currently looks like a buying opportunity?
Thank you.

Q: Hi Guys
Morningstar has ENGH @ Forward P/E at 26x and P/S at 5.3 x
Would you think taking my position up from 1.5% to 3.0% a good idea? or would your choice be another stock instead, I invest in companies, not trade stock prices.
Thanks !
