Brookfield Corporation Class A Limited Voting Shares (BN $62.24)
Q: Need to add financial stock within my portfolio in the next week or two. For a TFSA, not needed for at least 5 years. Based on exchanges in this platform, I am considering HOOD and BN. I am very much a crypto skeptics. Assuming that I put a value near 0 to HOOD's business, would this still be a buy? Would you recommend another stock instead of these two? Which ones?
Q: Can you explain the recent reorganization of trI, ie why my 500 shares turned into 492 with some return of capital.

Q: Good Day, Curious about your position of using CDR's in portfolio construction. Advantages or disadvantages for non registered, TFSA, RRSP and RESP.
I recently invested in Palo Alto CDR and Applovin CDR (not in your search to add for Portfolio Analytics), also have Amazon and was thinking of adding Microsoft.
thanks,

Q: When Space X IPO's later this year would you expect a boost to MDA stock because the event would attract new money to one of the cheaper stocks in the sector or draw money from MDA to fund a Space X purchase or a bit of both resulting in a wash?
Q: Hello 5i Team; Could you comment on earnings in light of the meg merger. How do you see this going forward or will they(oil companys) drift lower as the St of Hormuz opens. Thanks in advance Mike

Q: Do you think SpaceX OpenAI and Anthropic will go Public with IPOs in the next 12 months and what impact do you see it having on the market based on the size of their likely offerings?
Seems these days by the time an IPO hits the market alot of the easy money has been made by those who have participated in Pre IPO offerings and Seed money.
Are there holdings related to any of these entities already in the market in funds held by those like Cathy Wood's Ark fund that one can realize the value of the shares prior to a Public IPO?

iShares Core Canadian Universe Bond Index ETF (XBB $27.91)
Q: Hi
I just saw a question regarding bonds. It is probably evident that I don[t understand bonds very well. But, I was wondering why you would recommend xbb rather than something like xsb. I know one is short term and one mid term, but I don't knowwhen to use each one
thanks

Q: Zacks Research Hidden" Chip Stock Primed to Skyrocket
The semiconductor industry's next breakout star isn't what you think.
One little-known US firm has quietly established a dominant position in the Artificial Intelligence and Big Tech ecosystems.
It doesn't make chips like NVIDIA or AMD.
Any guess's what it might be, or is this a scam?
Thank you.

Q: Do you have a preference between Micron, Terradyne and Celestica? If I were to purchase an equal weight for all 3 how long is the time frame for each in this AI buildout
Q: I am trying to fully understand the usage and value of the Cdn cdrs.
Are the Cdrs created from a Treasury based on the current traded price of the equity or am i forced to find someone who has their exisitng Cdrs for sale and Bid on those based on the levels they will sell their holdings at?
The Bid/Ask on some of these is extremely wide and the volume of some very Lo wherein some have no volume traded and seemingly none offered. If the price i am forced to pay for the Cdn cdr doesn't closely reflect the value after Cdn exchange is taken i am better to just BUY the shares in the alternative currency but I like the idea of the hedging feature when i see the Cdn dlr as being fairly weak.
Was looking to Buy LVMUY but the Bid/Ask spread was .35/Shr.
Lastly what are yr thots on LVMH and Luxury Brands in general as a Purchase opportunity today? Also was looking at Richemont cdn cdr but there was no volume traded today.

Cenovus Energy Inc (CVE $29.58)
Q: I noticed when I looked these companies up on your platform it says the q dividend for CNQ is .625 Cnd when its on the CND exchange and .625 USD when its on the US side. Similarly it has CVE's as .20Cnd and .20 USD. I thought in all cases the dividend is paid in CND and if the stock is on the US side it get converted to USD, which due to its strength, would be approx .46USD and .147USD respectively?
Q: Would it make sense to take a tax loss on GIB.A now, and buy back in 30 days? Is there much risk in missing out in a sharp rebound ? Roughly how much of a rebound would this stock have to make for this plan to not make sense ?

Q: I’ve listed several stocks that have gone parabolic in the last several months (knowing that there have been many more). I know you don’t have a crystal ball, but at what point do investors sell? Or would you just trim based on weighting?
I ask because I have sold some stocks too early in the past (eg. NVDA) and don’t want to make the same mistake again!

Global X Space Tech Index ETF (ORBX $24.19)
Q: What are your thoughts on ORBX ETF as a method to invest in this area. I already have a slightly underweight position in MDA Space Ltd and was looking to increase exposure in this sector and diversify more. Would there be a better alternative to achieve this? Either a couple of other stocks or a better ETF focused on this sector? Any thoughts?
