Q: Hi 5i, enjoyed your webinar today. Thx for putting it together.

My question is on Canadian on small/mid caps, I've listed a few just to start with. Given the current environment what would be your ten highest conviction picks. I plan to hold for atleast 5 years, so I'm after safe business models that have a high chance of survival. If you list a stock not mentioned frequently on these boards then please provide a small blurb ast to why you like it. Thx again.

Q: Hello, for a 25 year old with $ 500.00 to invest in the TFSA, which of the above would you suggest?
Also, how about for a 27 year old with $ 100K, which one(s) would you suggest? Finally, does BMO have a S&P500 unhedged?
As a quick calculation the Unedged has retuned ~ 6% more with BMO (ZQQ /ZNQ) and ~ 12% with the ishare ( XQQ/XQQU). Right?
Thanks
Carlo

Q: Can you comment on UBER earnings, their forward guidance and US currency headwinds, and the perceived battle with TSLA's robotaxis.

Uber stock price has been flat for a year now - is it undervalued? The market seems to pricing in nothing less than solid earnings and guidance beats, is this a sign that the market considers large cap US stocks to be grossly overvalued in general, and anything less than perfection will result in a sell off?

Q: With regards to EFN.TO. It was extremely volatile on Monday, Feb. 3, 2025 when the US tariffs were due to be implemented against Canada. It looks like EFN price dropped as much as 12% compared to it's previous Friday close but it seem to recover and ended up with a drop of 1%. Can you please give your take on this behaviour and what entry price might be reasonable considering the tariff climate (or wait). Many thanks.

Q: We've been reading of lots of deregulation coming in the U.S generally, but especially in the financial sector. Pundits have taken to saying 'animal spirits will be unleashed'. Additionally, I wonder if orange imperialism will tend to trickle down to C suites. Can you suggest a Canadian name or two in relevant sectors that might be more likely to be taken out?
(With the proviso that their debt levels be on the low side for sector average.)
Deduct as you see fit.
Thank You,
Tim
