Q: Hi,
Is MG a buy? It looks like it has a reasonable valuation. Tailwinds? Headwinds?

I've been holding CIX for about a year now. Got in at about $20. Can we expect some upward movement given the share buybacks and the large economic context?

ENGH...is it reasonable to expect this stock to get to 35 or so any time soon?

Q: I was in a Lululemon store in Tokyo (Roppongi neighbourhood) last month. It was a smaller store but very busy and the staff were great...

I have a full position in SHOP. This stock is more expensive than LULU but the growth is also much higher.

Could you compare the growth and opportunity potential for these two consumer companies both short and long term.

As of today and from a strictly growth perspective would you overweight one over the other?

Q: I'm looking to add some tech exposure and am considering one of the following three ETFs: QMAX, HTA, TXF.
They're all pretty similar but which one do you feel is the best for long term growth and income and why?
I know QMAX's strategy is a little bit different than the other two in that they use "at the money" calls ... is this a positive or a negative?

Q: I've read recent Q&A on ULTA, and agree about why the stock price has been weak. I'm looking long term here though, and will consider a potential buy(s) at certain technical levels. But first...

- What is 5i's attraction to this stock? It seems highly recommended.

- How solid is the balance sheet?

- What are its growth plans?

- Much competition?

- Is this considered a mid-cap? Just trying to get a sense of size and future stability.

Q: I also like LULU for the longer term growth potential and the fact they seem to executing well on their plan to get to $12B in revenue by 2026. I'm optimistic about the Chinese growth opportunity, but I did see an interesting WSJ video this week in which they reported that young Chinese have less reverence for Western brands than previous generations. Q: Hi, We have some large capital gains crystallized this year, as a result of trimming of some overweight holdings and rebalancing of our Taxable account portfolio. The two securities, we have some losses in, are DRX and TVK. We are toying with a plan to sell those positions in full ( 2% and 1.75%, respectively) in order to book some losses to help us offset the large gains.

We also intend to buy back full or partial positions, after 30 days, as these are some of highly recommended companies by 5i.

Considering that both stocks are trading close to their recent lows, do you see any merit in this strategy ? Are there any catalysts, in the near term for these companies, which could be favourable to stocks but pose a risk to our buyback plan ?
