Q: TGOD announced a Shoppers deal with and the stock surged over 100% same day as high as .64 cents and closed at .50. Then the next day the company announced a bought deal to raise $15m at .40 cents and the stock went down as low as .37 cents. Why would they dilute like that with great news, I am sure they could raise money at a higher price, please elaborate. Is it a good time to buy and hold for a few years? Is there any big risks I am not aware of?
Thanks,
George

Q: Hi folks, in Q1 results just released, I noticed that Curaleaf has total assets of $1.296B...but Goodwill has increased to $181.465M, and Intangible assets net has increased to $392.342M. Quick math Goodwill app 14% & Intangibles app 30% of total assets. This marks an increase in % from previous Q from app 9% & 25%. Is the increase good...or a red flag...as I thought both Goodwill & Intangibles were negative/bad for company. Could U please explain & clarify so I can understand better. Also, did Q results looks of, and would cura/c be Buy,Hold,Sell. Thanks as always, jb Piedmont QC

Q: Hello Peter and Team,
I currently have 50K ready to be invested in the market. I am looking for capital gain in the next 24 months. Above stocks have been hammered and did not fully recover yet. Agree that they are in different sectors, my portfolio is otherwise diversified.
Could you give me your expert opinion and prioritize your choices if any from the above.
I always value your opinion

Q: Hi 5i team,
I follow a number of the stay-at-home stocks but question their valuations and wonder about their staying power. One that has been on my watchlist for awhile is CHGG. The stock price jumped recently after a very strong earnings report, so I may have missed the run. It is gathering analyst support for its on-line education platform for courses, tutoring and reference material for high school and college students. With a number of universities in Canada and the U.S. keeping campuses closed at least until the January semester, does CHGG have some staying power for its on-line educational services? What are your thoughts on CHGG?
Thanks again for the insight.

Q: I have a small position in OGI.T. Bought it two weeks ago (2.40) thinking it Is one of the better names in the sector and will be a survivor. It has had its time in the past where they would report a good quarter but with no consistency. What is you’re opinion on this company and the sector in general. I can wait on it for a few years but the sector as a whole looks like a dumpster fire and knowing there are a lot of other places to go with the money I’m wondering if it makes any sense to wait it out?
