Q: Do you think there is a possibility that ALA could go bankrupt? Based on all the negative decisions that have eroded share value, it would appear to me that a wholesale change of the Board of Directors could be welcome news for this company. Who could make this happen?

Q: AD results were decent.... why is it down 8%? Time to buy if one already doesn't own or is something going on here?
Q: Hello 5i:
I would appreciate your thoughts on XHY. I have had this ETF in my RRIF for a number of years and taking into account the dividend for all this time I am still down from my initial investment. Thank you Barbara

Q: I would appreciate your insight on GEI vs ENB. How do the pay out ratios/debt compare, the sustainabiltiy of the dividend and the ability of increasing the dividend? Which one would have a better growth? Would you prefer holding just one or would both be okay as well for added diversification?
Q: Your thoughts on Alaris's earnings report, for an entry point and dividend sustainability to hold in a RRIF, are greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Susan

Q: alaris just reported could i have your thoughts.
Q: Would you hold che.un for income? Is there concern that the dividend is not sustainable. Currently the dividend rate of return is in excess of 9%.
Q: Hi 5i research team,
In your recent report update on BOS, you mentioned the need for a catalyst as their house is pretty much in order (balance sheet, operating systems, management). I am wondering what it could be? #1 Revenue growth: BOS only made few acquisitions in the past 20 years, so it would be a surprise; and in the current state of world growth (probably slightly decreasing at best), BOS would need to enter a new related line (from their current activities) of business: any ideas? #2 Dividend growth and share buybacks: what size of increase or program would be needed to represent a catalyst? When would the balance sheet be ready (size of debt?) for such moves? #3 Privatization of the company: insiders own 41%: looking at insiders could they be buyers or sellers? Do you see this possibility in the next 5 years? #4 Could BOS be on its way to become a value trap? Thank you for your collaboration, Eric

Q: I want to take my huge loss in my rrsp on Altagas and move on. You mentioned there are better names in the sector. I already have a 3 percent position in Algonquin power. Which companies have better upside.
Q: KWH has started a distribution reinvestment program. It appears they intend to buy the shares in the market. What is the advantage to the company when they do this? It seems to make sense not to issue new shares when the yield is so high. (makes for expensive money).

Q: Would you hold Alta gas at this price?
Q: What is your opinion on Ts.B last earnings report? The stock dipped below $1.00, will the company survive and what are the consequences if it stays below $1.00?
Thanks,
George

Q: Hi 5i
This is a follow up to a reply on another members question about "intensive care" monitoring of portfolios.
I was a little surprised with the inclusion of VNR in this list - what specifically causes concern to the extent that you want to keep a closer eye on this one ?
Thanks
Mike

Q: I'm often sitting with ~$5K-$10K in cash reserves, which sit in my TFSA/RRSP account while I wait to decide how to invest that money. Usually the money sits for a Quarter or more. What are your thoughts on investing the money into XBB instead of letting it sit in cash? It pays a 2.95% Yield and historically has been fairly stable (thought it has dropped in value this year).
Given my time-frame, do you think its worth investing the money into XBB while I wait to decide how to invest, or better to simply have the money sit in cash?

Q: I have a question about 891
Why would Enbridge suspend the DRIP if they weren't offering anything 'extra' (as in an extra % to those who took part) to take part in it?

Q: As of today, what is your best guess or guesses for companies that pay at least 4% dividend, that will have a chance at more than average capitol appreciation going forward. In my income account, among others, I own CGX, GS, TCL.A and VET. Size, sector and risk are not factors, I dont rely on the income and sleep very well during high volatility.
Q: Stock seems to be hanging around. What are your thoughts on this company.
