Q: BEPC has only gone down long term, including recently during a rising market. Yet analyst targets and fair value assessments range from $39-$46. The yield is approaching 6% and I would expect it to provide a floor for the stock soon. How safe is the dividend? Would you be averaging down at these levels if you had taken a small position at higher (mid-$40’s) levels?

Q: Hi Team, Thanks for your wonderful work on i5Research.
NVDIA stock jumped right after earnings report last week. This week it has dropped in price every day, even though analyst are targeting up to 1000-1200$ in the near future.
With the recent deep in NVDA is this a good time to buy NVDA stock or call options? Or is it a falling knife?
Thanks
DP

Q: Looking for updated thoughts on Bird Construction, it seems since the Fall of 2022 this stock (up 3X) turned around and has a nice run of new contracts expanding into Nuclear work for the Ontario Government, which is intriguing among many other contracts for larger builds and a nice growing backlog.
Market Cap nearing 1 billion which you seem to like as more Investors consider it.
Do you know Management at all and what are your thoughts?
Who is their nearest competitor regardless of size and who is their closest in size and competition in Canada?
What is the biggest risk you see to this specific company?
If you had to choose between BDT or another North American company in the same space (non-residential construction exposure) if not BDT who are they?

Q: Hi Peter & team

My son is about to graduate and will be starting his first job shortly thereafter. He is going to have approx $100,000 to invest and he asked for my help. I am recommending he start a portfolio which includes HPS.A, GDI, TVK, GSY, BNS, EQB, SIS, ATS, KXS, TOI, ATZ, DOO, ENB, BTE, LMN. I am also going to suggest 10% be placed in CASH as a rainy day/opportunity fund he can add to. Is there anything else you would have me add? Is there any of these you would have me remove? And if 10% was focused into fixed Income, what would you recommend? Please deduct appropriate number of questions.

Thanks for all you do

Q: Hi Peter, I'm holding NVEI and GSY in an RRSP currently with NVEI in a bigger loss position than GSY and was thinking of selling NEVI over GSY to add to my LMN position. I've read that you have NVEI as a hold at present. Would I loose much selling NVEI or GSY in exchange for the position in LMN and in what order would you sell if you had to. Please take as many credits for the question you think adequate. Thanks

Q: Hello Peter,

Sam Altman wants to raise $7T for AI chips in the future. He's looking to the UAE for investments. Thoughts, comments? Will this likely be a new private venture or is there a possibility that he may explore any current publicly traded firms to partner (in terms of funnelling cash into, etc.)?

Next, what are some names that could benefit from this current theme and or Sam and others from diving into the chip design, manufacturers, etc. What are your top names for years out in this space, and a few comments on each. Let's rock!

Finally, Cybersecurity and protection of critical infrastructure is and will be huge. Top names in this space, ranked in terms of future outperformance?
