Q: I purchased AT at just over $8 for my TFSA slightly more than a couple of years ago and am down >70% since. It would need to appreciate by >350% to get me back to break-even. I have a long timeframe but given that - aside from the 6 month period between about Aug/20 and Feb/21 when the share price ramped up exponentially - AT’s historical price stays put in the +/- $2.50 price range, do you see any realistic probability of AT appreciating by magnitudes of order over the course of the next couple of years? I wouldn’t think even a buy-out/take over would provide that kind of premium. It just seems like dead money for the foreseeable future. I know you can’t personalize advice but in a similar situation (eg Growth Model Portfolio) would you take your lumps and move on or would you be inclined to continue to hold and, if so, for how long? Thanks.

Q: Of these three financials - TSU, IFC, GSY - can you please rank per the following:

- Management

- Long term growth prospects

- Moat (or at least its strength within it's sub-sector)

- Best current valuation

- Relative safety (least risk - especially in a weak economy)

Q: Saw Andrew Moffs on BNN Monday discussing REITs and Real Estate companies. Looking for a 2nd opinion on these 8. Maybe just a ranking from 1 to 8 in order of preference for a long term hold. Yield doesn't matter, looking for best total return. Which ones look buyable at this time?

Q: Considering the continuous drop of share price lately,I sold all my positions today since it is not a large cap , and could be " not so safe" for long term for a dividend investor... what is the cause of the drop ,any comment on this move? Regards JY

For income and some growth, I continue to hold Fidelity Asset Allocation Private Pool Series F8 (374), in a corporate account. It is the only investment in the account. I have two questions.

1) In your opinion is this still a good choice?
2) Could you suggest an alternative to replace part or all of FID374?

Q: Hello. I already hold these 4 stocks, in a well diversified by sector, TFSA with WELL down considerably and the other 3 near break even. I have 26 stocks in my TFSA, so rather than deploying new money into an additional holding, I am considering adding to these companies. Your thoughts.

Q: I am looking for ETFs that trade on the TSX with a yield of at least 4-5%. From the income portfolio, I see CPD (preferreds) / CVD (convertible) / XHY (US HY) / ZRE (REITs), and I am also aware of ZWU (Utilities) / ZWB (Banks).

Are there any others that don't have much overlap with the above that you would recommend?

Q: JNJ shares have been sliding down for weeks. Today the company lost its appeal to segregate its talc div for bankruptcy and JNJ Shares gapped down. The talc litigation was already priced in before the decision. The ruling itself was not a real surprise. What gives? Is it much of a risk to add to existing holdings? “Waiting for things to settle” does not always work out when negative factors depressing share values were already known before resolution of said negatives.

Q: Fur those if us who have fallen off the Elon musk bandwagon can you suggest TSLA adjacent stocks for those of us who prefer to sleep at night?

Q: I noticed that Hasbro went down about eight percent because of poor guidance. I wonder it this will affect Toy? I suppose it already would have it was going to do so. What are your thoughts generally on Toy^ I sold a lot when it was at $50 but I still have some left now at about $34. That was quite a big drop, too. Time to move on or do you think it will come back^

Q: Have you read that major article the Globe and Mail did on CIX on Saturday? If so, do you have any response to it? It sounded kind of like a hit piece, and certainly had nothing good to say about either the company's future prospects or its leadership.

Q: If 5i had 3 US model portfolios (income, balanced, and growth), which model portfolio(s) would you put NVDA into and what weighting would you currently have it around or where would you start trimming? Would you consider it one of those ones where you let it keep running as a winner and trim it along the way (e.g., year to date of 30+%)?

Q: Assuming a few better years for bonds ahead, insurance should do well. How would you rate ELF, and what would be your favourite in the space.
