Q: Hi There,
I am interested in purchasing an active fixed income ETF.
Can you help list what you believe are top tier fixed income sub-advisors/managers/companies in Canada that I should consider.
[eg Marrett, PHN, Leith Wheeler, Fiera etc?]
Could you also list some active fixed income ETF's that one might want to consider adding that you believe are worth the MER.
thanks

Q: Further to my earlier question about CGI's latest results. PRNewswire and RBC Direct Investing show revenue of $2.96 billion which matched estimates of $2.94-2.97. The only 'down' value was the slight drop in 'cash for operating activities' whatever that is. I still don't understand the drop in its share price.

Q: From the recent financials results and press releases (increased revenues, most retail stores open in Canada out of any private or public company) it seems like a stock with good potential in a very uncertain industry, what are your thoughts? Large volume swing today and uptick that doesn't appear to have a clear explanation (besides volume). Thanks.

Q: this question is about tax loss selling. Close to 30 days ago I bought a company in my RIF for the equivalent in a taxable account. The plan was to sell the company in the taxable account in 30 days and keep it in the RIF. Well, I forgot about this and bought it again in the taxable account today. I don't think this will affect my selling it in the next week or so for a tax loss? but, I wanted to check to make sure.

Second bonus question with applicable credits deducted: We have a fairly large RIF and thus have most of our US holdings in it. I was wondering if there are any downsides to holding most of our fixed income in the RIF in US dollars? The only downside that I can think of is that the American econonomy is so much bigger than ours that it may be a better place to invest in stocks.
thanks as always

Q: I have some cash in my TFSA which I'd like to deploy. I'm looking at either 1000 shares of Stingray Digital or 500 shares of Savaria for a 3-5 year hold.
Which would you recommend and why?
Thanks, Richard
