Q: Sangoma Technologies released Q1 FY 2018 results this evening. Q1 looked really strong and the share valuation seems very inexpensive for Company with this growth rate, that is profitable and has a strong balance sheet. Your thoughts on STC, its current valuation and would it be a future consideration for the 5i growth portfolio given its 2018 annual sales are guided to exceed $46 million?

Q: I am thinking of putting some small amount of "mad money" into
a) Cannabis

If you really have to choose at this time, which Canadian companies would you give the best chances of making it.
Thank you.

Q: I would like your updated opinion on Dollarama. I think it is reporting 3rd quarter results. Consulting the question database, you have felt it was expensive in the past, but it has been heading up and up and is at an all time high as of tyhe close today. My personal experience has been walking to isles. The store seems to be an upgrade of the inexpensive store format - they stock a higher qualtiy of good (in my opinion). So, are there any danger signs ? Love your terrific service.
Q: Hello 5i,
I have been thinking about increasing my allottment to emerging markets funds. I already hold vwo and was wondering whether to just increase that, or whether it would be better to diversify. I would appreciate your thoughts on that question and suggestions as to what might be etf's. I am an Average, moderatly conservative investor, with a good diversification
Thanks

Q: Im with Frank, I only want stock picks that go up ;)
Q: Well, it looks likes like the stock is making another strong move again, yes expensive, but is this just a company that amazon can not compete against? In one of the stores today, seeing the line-up at the till, it just doesn't stop. Reminds me of what Peter Lynch said, just watch where people are shopping. They also love to buy back stock, is that a good sign also?
Thanks again

Q: Hi, just read your article on itchy trigger fingers, and I agree with you.But I could not understand why you would sell ZCL on there quarterly results? I thought up till there last quarter everything looked fine, and you were recommending the stock?
Q: Hello Team,
I've been waiting for a chance to grab Uni Select shares at a good price since a couple of years. Do you feel that, at the current price, it is a time to take a half-position considering their balance sheet and prospect... even if the momentum in the share price is not good at all right now?
Thanks in advance for your advice !
Michel

Q: Would you consider Peyto Exploration a good value at its current share price?
Q: I've been expecting this company to issue a boatload of shares for a money-raise, which I don't think has happened yet. Maybe I missed it.
Do your resources indicate if there's been a share issue in recent months?
Thanks

Q: Reviewing my portfolio at this time of year,i have decided to take a more defensive approach for 2018.I have recently purchased a couple of gold stocks(aem & lk).I am unsure if gold still has the downside protection for a portfolio that it used to.
Also with the expected interest rate increases will dividend paying large caps have the desired benefit of portfolio protection?
Do you have any suggestions on some debt free dividend paying companies that will do well in a flat or slightly down market.I don't care if they are small, medium or large cap companies!
