Q: Is PBL a buy at this time, well of its highs, but PE seems high. Would it be somewhat recession proof. Thanks for your analysis.

Q: Paul Gardner was on BNN and was quite negative on DIR.UN management and previous practices, his commentary made me question my ownership. Of course there are two sides, curious on 5i thoughts?
Q: Hello 5i Team,
Can I please get your current opinion on Profound Medical? Do you see it as a buy, given the risk level? The recent earnings call sounded very optimistic with a deal signed to install their prostate cancer/BPH thermal ultrasound treatment in 20 Cleveland Clinics across North America. They also mentioned a code approval in the US effective January 2025. Thanks. Brad

Q: Do you know of an app tied to daily US/Cdn $ exchange rate which I can use to track performance of US stocks in terms of Cdn $ which is required for Canadian tax reporting . I have DRIPs on US stocks but of course their cost in C$ when drip shares are purchased is what is required when asset sold. My online account only tracks the US$ ACB which doesnt track currency on drip settlement date. Thank you.
Q: Are you able to discern the financial performance of Brookfield Property in the Brookfield Fin Statements...I own some BPO prefs and am interested in knowing it , but unsure how I would find it...many thanks...Cheers

Q: Good Afternoon,
I've noticed on TD Waterhouse that analysts' price targets for CELH currently range from $64.99 to $250. Any thoughts about why there would be such a wide gap, and as a shareholder, should I be overly concerned? Is this a stock that one should consider an ongoing stop-loss order. Thanks. Brad

Q: I apologize for this very basic question but I need to confirm the following please:
If I buy a canadian company’s stock (ex CM) with U.S. dollars on a
U.S. exchange, will I receive the dividend in U.S. dollars?
To receive the dividend in $U.S. , I don’t need to advise my brokerage or make any special request ?
There would be no withholding tax, right?
Thx
John

Q: What would be your current list of top 5 companies that you would consider your favorite, almost must own's, due to their potential, prior success, moats, or any other criteria you consider as most important, for the following investor:
- Relatively young with a long timeframe to save for retirement.
- Will not need the funds for a long time.
- Has no concerns with short term volatility.
- Irrespective of sector or geography.
- Looking to maximize chances of outperformance over time.
List can be shorter or longer if appropriate.
Thank you!

Q: I am retired and a dividend investor in corporations which receive the dividend tax credit as any investments would be in an unregistered account. Would you think it’s timely to purchase some preferred shares for a 5 percent position, doing so over the next couple of months. If you think it is worthwhile, please provide 4 or 5 preferred shares that you would recommend.
Capital preservation and liquidity is important and unless the dividend is greater than 7 percent I would assume you would be better off just investing in some blue chip large cap companies with high yields where there is a chance for more capital appreciation. ALSO I would like you to consider minimum rate reset preferred shares that would reset within the next 12 months and if they reset today what would the yield be.
Thanks BRIAN

Q: PBH: 5i continues to sing the praises of this company and I am not sure why? last 7 years stock same range with peaks and valleys, high P.R. low ROE & high debt. I thought about it at around, I think $79.00; but, bought GSY which looked better to me using every metric. Have owned IGM for long time and added to that when price was low - best of breed IMHO.
Q: If you had to sell one of the above and keep the other in a TFSA which one would you part with?
Thanks,
Terry
Thanks,
Terry
