Q: I have a loss over 22% in DND in my non registered account. Would it make sense to high grade to one of the other three given current sell off in all four stocks? Which one would provide the best long term growth?
Thank you

Q: I am more than happy with the long term performance of this company . However the last two quarterly reports issued by the company have been somewhat pessimistic regarding growth prospects as the economy recovers from the covid pandemic . Cash flow is good , and the company will be buying back shares . I wonder if the are now an acquisition target for a larger competitor . What are your thoughts -- are they a buy , sell or hold?

Q: Good morning 5i team,
What is 5i's view of companies that spread stock option expense across P&L categories? A company might report significant R&D expense which an investor views as a positive, until one realizes that a considerable portion of the R&D expense is related to stock options? Is that generally-accepted accounting treatment? How do companies generally handle this? How does 5i view one treatment versus another? Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i team
I would like to thank you for all your sound advice since inception. I would need to trim up to 5 stocks from this portfolio. If you were in that position, which ones would you cut starting with first to cut up to fifth. These stocks are in a rrsp with equal percentages. Thanks. Gilles

Q: Hi Peter,
I enjoyed your article again in the FP, as I always do. I do think the 60/40 split is an old market axiom that has outlived its time. I understand the bond argument for balance and income. I am lucky to have a DB pension, so I don’ t need bond income. Similarly, if I want to sleep better, I move into lower beta or value names, which I have done. My question, if you don’t mind me asking, is what is the average bond weighting of your staff in your portfolios?
Thanks again.
Dave
