Q: I understand that DSG and KXS operate in different spaces, but had thought that, as the market put April 9 behind it, they would recover along similar trajectories - but KXS has clearly taken the lead, today matching its December, 2024 high. Supposing that at least some of Trump's tariff plans come to fruition, is KXS the better investment? DGS's RoC (per your database) is far more attractive.

Q: As a follow up to my previous question, in which you suggested the following ETFs: VIU, XIU and ZSP as a way to save 10% of my income for retirement, do you prefer XIU over XIC for retirement investments over a 20 year span. If so, why? Thank you again for your great service.

Q: I have sold half my position in AQN at a loss awhile ago and now am considering selling the other half and moving on. Wondering if I should wait until after earnings or just sell now. Do you know what is expected this May 9th earnings? What would be the stock to recoup losses of 50% -it can be any area, doesn't have to be utilities. Thanks.

Q: Earlier this month the CRA asked tax-filers to delay filing if they had capital gains because their system had not yet been fully readjusted for the capital gain flip-flop. Since then I have not heard anything more; do you know if they are now up to speed? Because of that delay request, I'm going to be late.

First off, I'd like to thank 5i member "Peter" for his excellent recommendation of the IE generated website 'Perplexity'. What an amazing alternative to Google Search!

'Perplexity' was able to answer a question that I had about the UFile tax software that even UFile's help desk failed to answer with clarity.

Secondly, is there a link to your recent webinar for those of us who were unable to view it in real time?

Q: I know you often mention both of these names as preferred silver names. If you were to pick 1 would you say that perhaps MAG has the most potential for growth going forward ? Just looking at the charts it appears that MAG has not really fired the way PAAS has - would you agree ? What other silver stocks would you recommend as having the most potential for growth right now. Finally, do you agree that silver is likely a better investment than gold now based on the gold/silver ratio ?

Q: I recently read an article saying Goldman Sachs reports their base case for US tariff negotiations to include long-standing percents to be remain in place. As in, the rates may or may not change from their present 10%. I am trying to make informed decisions about expected uncertainty and whether strategic portfolio balancing needs to be done. Appreciating we don’t have a crystal ball, don’t see the sustained tariffs as a likely outcome and would you recommend any responses to higher probability outcomes to this? For example- avoiding high-multiple US stocks emerging markets or others.

Q: Regarding the question about form 1042-S, I asked Perplexity "where to input numbers for form 1042-S. on American tax return. and it came up with a very good answer which I am not putting here as the answer is long and depends on circumstances.

Q: Good afternoon,

One of the services I like to check in on for fun does technical analysis video updates for the overall happenings in the markets that can be found on YouTube (and obviously should be met a fair share of skepticism), well today one of the things they’re talking about is a rare Zweig Breadth Thrust signal.

I realize that your wheelhouse is focusing on good companies and in the long run that's what matters most, however I was wondering if you’ve noticed the same signal (ie, did it actually happen)?
