Q: Since many of the ETFs have a very low market cap and are thinly traded, is there usually a market maker for each fund or is the investor at the mercy of a possibly large spread in the bid/ask making it difficult to exit large positions? If there is some bad news that affects a sector ETF, the door could be too narrow for all the investors wanting out.

Q: Hello Peter and Team,
This is more of an observation than a question concerning companies that own great metrics and show excellent results, but get little volume or shareholder appreciation. I picked up ITC ( Intrynsic Technologies) just previous to you including it in your own portfolio, and have seen nothing but SP deterioration since. This, in spite of a very good last quarterly, and also the anticipation of strong upcoming growth in 2017. The word on the boards is that the company does little to promote itself to the investment community and is basically flying way below the radar. Another example is SYZ ( Sylogist); I am very interested in taking a position in SYZ, but despite its posting of a remarkable fiscal report, ( Revenue up 31%, Adjusted EBITDA up 53%) there has been very little, to no volume since. Volume of 600 as of noon today. There was substantial appreciation in the share price over the last couple of years, but the stock has been basically going sideways for the last 6 months. In your experience, what is the typical catalyst for SP advancement on these types of illiquid stocks, and do you feel that that these two are still ``in play``?

Q: Hi, I plan to create a small portfolio by combining both global momentum and global value stock etfs in equal proportion. For the etfs, i plan to use vanguard momentum etf(VMO) and vangurd value factor etf (VVL). My time horizon is 12 years. My aim is to get better result than the bench marks while getting global exposure. Is this a sound strategy? Thanks

Q: I own SJ in a couple of portfolios. I am considering selling but do not want to sell until the stock settles, but thinking long term would it be best to move out of this stock into another stock in the same sector. One of the portfolios is a RESP with the funds being used in the next 3 to 4 years. The other portfolios have a much longer time frame. Your guidance is greatly appreciated.

Q: Is there a way of reviewing the "Member Updates" section -- i.e., the monthly commentary where you make changes in the portfolios, etc.? I'm usually pretty good at keeping those notes, but I didn't for last month, and wanted to review your comments on your portfolio changes. The rationale you provide behind your choices is always of interest. Thanks. (I know what the changes are, just looking at the portfolios, but would want to look at your notes from that time.)

Q: Hi,would you sell Avo or Bos at this time as i'am trying to be more conservative,to ride out Trump for the next six months or more.
Also for say 50-60,000 could you recommend say three etfs or stock with 2-4% dividend that would be fairly safe going forward,as I do not want a GIC at less than 1%. I do realize there is always going to be risks in the Market.

Q: I am looking at adding one of the two to my US holdings and would appreciate your thoughts. Which would be the better long term hold, for 5 years? Tencent Holdings, or Impinj?

Acknowledging that you do not focus on US stocks, I still value your opinion -- as you helped me (along with many others no doubt) hit it out of the ballpark with both NVDA and Tenneco. (Thank You! )
