Q: All these are oversold as of this week. For a long term investor, are any of these good to buy today?

Q: Caledonia's share price seems to have plateaued somewhat since at least November 2018, trading mostly between $7 and $8. I've done well by it but am growing impatient. It is a relatively small holding in my TFSA. I'm wondering if I'm better off selling and investing the proceeds elsewhere. (I have three other mining holdings.) As always, I welcome your insights.

Q: Hi,

What is your opinion of this company that merged in 2016? They seem to have a required service but not sure how they compare to their peers or if they are the market leader in what they provide.
How do their financial metrics look?
How does the management team rate?
Any cautionary flags that you see?
Would they be a good investment in a well diversified portfolio?

Q: Hi Guys:
I'm thinking of taking a position in IPL in my RRIF for the dividend and the potential for growth when the Heartland Project comes on stream in 2021. The dividend yield is high which can be a cause for concern and construction costs can get out of hand which would delay any increased profits. I think the dividend is good while waiting for share price to grow, looking to build a position this year for a long term hold,is there risk to the dividend & do you think that IPL can deliver the Heartland on budget and would you have any comment of management financial projections for this project.

Q: Hi team
I have a full position in the above as well as WSP

Stantec has a very slow growth as compared to the above

I have no position in ARE

is it prudent to sell half of the stantec holdings and put it equally in ARE and WSP ?
I already have nearly a full position in WSP which has done very well for me

Q: Hi,
Steve asked about accessing info on stocks hitting a new high. The Canaccord Genuity morning coffee news letter often lists stocks hitting new 52 week highs and lows. It’s free and is e-mailed and daily.

Q: Just a comment based on Darcy’s question on March 7.

While anyone who is invested in stocks based on the balanced equity portfolio, which I suspect is plenty, my own experience is to recommend patience.

Remember when GC was recommenced and then shortly thereafter the news came out about the money laundering. Stock tanks and the natural reaction was panick. Thanks to 5I I held firm and am looking at 60% gain.

I buy the dips, and for the most part, am very pleased, with the BEP.

Q: Do you have an opinion about buying either of these at this time? Based on the company numbers you post here, the div yield is about the same but P/E is a bit lower on CNQ. Does the fact that SU is more vertically integrated help or hinder with future corp/stock growth? Do you see either co having a stronger financial position?
I wouldn't mind some capital appreciation but the yields are attractive and I'm thinking that the div is safe with both cos. To me, neither co likely has big upside but they both seem to trade in a somewhat narrow range and given current yields and where the prices are, is either a better buy now or would you hold off for lower prices yet?

Q: Hi, I see that Knight is at a two year low. I like the company for it’s conservative ways, comfort if recession hits, and large cash position. (Has it ever given a one time special dividend while waiting?). I will be buying more in the near future.
Is now a good time to buy or would you wait and if it hits the low RSI ,as momentum is weak? I have a 4% position

Q: I am considering swapping SPB for PKI. I bought SPB for income and hopefully some growth 2 years ago and not going anywhere. PKI has less yield but increased dividend in the previous 6 years. Also more diversification with potential for better growth. Your thoughts?
