Q: Curious what you thought of the earnings. Also in your report on CXI you have an sentence that is hard to parse: ... "and lots of along..." Say what?

"The fundamentals at CXI continue to look strong with no debt and lots
of along with strong and consistent returns on equity on an annual basis."

Q: Hi,
I was wondering if you might be able to provide some insight on New Relic (nyse). It appears to be highly overvalued , yet continues to grow it’s share price. Are future earnings expectations so large that they are causing this change?

Q: Good Morning. In addition to my Canadian holdings, I have a well diversified of large cap US equities, most of them return a small dividend, all of them highly are highly affected by the news of the day, hour, minute.
As this ETF, returns a decent dividend, year after year increase in value & would diversify my holdings into small-cap stocks in sectors less available in Canada, do you think it may be a wise investment, as an alternative to IWO? I think, perhaps unreasonably, that small cap companies may be less subject to "news", because if these politicians mention CAT or say FB, as examples, everyone has an opinion, however small caps daily fly under the rhetoric radar.
I am not trying to hide from volatility by selling large caps to take a position in small caps, just trying to reduce it overall, in my holdings.
Do you know of any other US EFT, that is similar in nature to this one?

Q: With 3 analysts covering Sangoma now (Cormark, Beacon & Acumen), the Company seems to have all the good qualities for a small cap investment. Is it a worthy stock for the 5i growth portfolio based on its still attraction valuation?

You need a Cdn. & US brokerage a/c.'s
e. g. you buy 100 shs. CSU in your Cdn. a/c.
After settlement call the broker & tell them to tfr. the 100 CSU to your US a/c. Now the US div. will go into your US a/c. Should not be a problem buying CDN Co.'s that pay US divs. & accumulate those divs. in your US
brokerage a/c.

Q: For your member looking to receive USD dividends after buying a CAD stock:
You should be able to buy BIP.UN or BEP.UN in your CAD trading account then have Scotia transfer the position to your USD trading account and make an election to receive the dividends in USD. This way the dividends will be paid in USD and remain in USD. From there the cash could be transferred to your USD bank account as needed.
