Q: In a LIF account, I believe that dividend income, Canadian and US is not taxable, is this correct?
Are there circumstances where it would be, for example, in a Canadian ETF holding US stocks?

Q: What are your thoughts on Haivision? The 4th quarter results released on Jan 14th looked very strong, and the company turned a nice profit, with good revenue growth. Q: One of the factors I consider when comparing companies is Debt/Equity. 5i lists SLF as 7.16 and POW as 0.05. Could you please rationalize this difference for me.

Q: UMAX has been going straight down since 2022. Time to let it go? I have individual utility stocks ( ACO.X, BIPC, BIP, BEP, CU, FTS,

Q: Unless I am mistaken, I believe that CSU only reports GAAP earnings, yet every website I check seems to list their "adjusted" earnings. If this is in fact the case who exactly decides on these adjustments and comes up with the adjusted EPS figure?
