Q: would it be duplication to own both ZDV and CDZ in the same unregistered account? should I go with the highest yielding one? I note that CDZ holds more financial, could that be a drawback going down the road?

5i Research Answer:

There is some overlap, certainly and we do not think both need to be owned. ZDV has a much better 5-year record and we would side with net performance over yield. ZDV is a about 32% financials and our data shows as a higher financial allocation than CDZ. But we would still prefer it.
