Q: I am a 64 year old IT professional, planning to retire next year and live off investment income. What do you think about my current sector allocation: Energy 7.00%, Health 7.00%, Finance 22.50%, Industrials 10.00%, Tech 22.50%, Telco 4.00%, Utility 5.00%, Materials 5.50%, Cons.Def 7.50%, Cons.Cycl. 8.00%, Real Estate 1.00%? I have moderate risk tolerance, the portfolio size is over 5mln, most of it is US and Canadian ETFs, and the low real estate allocation is due to the fact that I own some investment real estate. No crypto, gold, or bonds - I don't want any. I have paid out house, no liabilities, and no dependents. I am wondering if my sector allocation is too aggressive..? If yes, what are your suggestions for the perfect allocation specific for my case? Thanks!

Q: Your thoughts on earnings, please.
Q: What's up with LLY? Was it the Wegovy sales from a competitor? Leadership changes? Is this little dip one to buy? Your thoughts?
Q: PRL came in with strong earnings a few days ago. Whereas GSY has been on a steady downturn lately and is down 8.5% today alone. I would have thought they would trade somewhat in sympathy with each other being in the same industry ..... I'm down about 20 % on GSY right now and considering abandoning it for greener pastures ..... If it were to at least level out I would be inclined to stay the course but it isn't ..... Need 5i advice on first what is going on ? And second why it is going on ? Thanks for your terrific service ......
Q: Thoughts on Tourmaline 1st quarter earnings?
Q: Can you please comment on the results from Extendicare and comment on the 5% drop yesterday? Is this a good time to step in?

Q: I currently own ENB (full position), SU and WMB in my RRIF. I am thinking I would like to increase my dividend income to help meet my annual withdrawal. I am trying to decide whether to sell WMB and buy more SU (more dividend income); sell WMB and replace it with CNQ (dividend bump and retain diversification) or stay the course and sell some shares if needed. I would appreciate your opinion which could include an option I have not considered.
On a different note, we had the misfortune of having our home broken into in Toronto. During the course of the investigation the officer suggested we download the images captured by our door alarm using their Axon app. I took the opportunity to ask the officer about Axon which I own (get a little intel to turn my lemon experience into lemonade maybe!). He said the officers love the software and they were looking forward to getting the upgraded Taser within the next few months. So it was nice to get that positive news.
Appreciate your insight.

Q: Considering present worldwide market uncertainties ,tariffs, volatility : would you agree with my observation that canadian REIT ETFs actually seem to be at a quite low price + less risky for a dividend investor ? If not ,would you suggest another category of investment ?
Q: Can I please have your latest thoughts on TradeWeb in today’s environment? It had a big drop earlier in April but has almost regained its momentum since then. Is the valuation stretched at this point? Thanks for your valued opinion.
Q: Hi, could you comment on ANET's earnings, which I understood were about 10% ahead of estimates per share, and 2% or so more revenue. The stock appears to have taken a hit today on the report, so were there negative comments from the management on forward guidance? Something else I missed in the numbers?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: What sector would you consider GENI to be in? The profile says "media", but this doesn't quite line up to a list I typically use (Telecom, Utilities, Materials, Industrials, Real Estate, Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Financial, Energy, Health Care, Information Technology). Do I just need to update my list, or should I fit it in something like Technology?
Q: Hi, I've read in Barron's that Crowdstrike will be laying off 500 staff, replacing them with AI. While obviously difficult for those laid off, I am wondering about the overall impact on CRWD, as I have noted today's negative reaction to the news. Your thoughts and comments on this would be appreciated. Thanks!
Q: Could you please comment on WSP Global earnings. Thank You
Q: I am looking to own some of, this but today the stock price is getting obliterated after earnings. They have purchased a few strategic companies... one could say " investing in future growth." Why so harsh? Do you think the acquisitions will look solid in a year from now? This is a hard company to understand.
